Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of stars

I'm gonna give you my heart'

Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of stars'

Cause you light up the path

Isaac shows up tonight; the cut is on his lip this time. How will this guy survive if this is a regular thing?

"Thank you again! Didn't want to bother you. You seem tired."

"I am tired, but only VIP treatment for our loyal customers," I said, smiling at him.

He held my hand when I was about to stand up, sending a weird electric shock that surprised me.

"I was wondering if you would be down to stargazing tomorrow night if you don't have work or plans already?" Isaac's cheeks are red as he struggles to say this.

Frankly, I don't understand how a guy who looks so hot can be so shy. I also can't understand why he would ask me from all the girls in school.

Damn, does this mean that I am about to break my "no socializing with people from school" rule? Well, to be honest, I don't see him as a fellow student; he is a VIP patron of this fine diner (the things I tell myself to justify my decisions).

Next Day

"What happened to you?

"I think I only got three hours of sleep; I am exhausted. Isaac stopped by after you guys left."

"Please tell me he used a condom!"

"WHAT!? Eeww, no, Jessica, please," I said, getting all shades of red on my face.

"Well, the kid is cute, and I think he likes you."

"Jessi, can you please focus? He came because he was injured again. He doesn't tell me how he gets the bruises, but I am convinced it is his father's doing. I want to help him. Should I talk to someone at the police station about this?"

"Has he asked you to do so? Do you have proof to accuse the father?"

"No, and no, but it's not fair. Someone needs to help Isaac."

"Tell you what, try to get more information from him, and I will ask Sheriff Stilinski to do a house visit or at least open a case. Is that ok?"

"Yes, thank you! By the way, I forgot to mention that Isaac asked me to go out with him tonight."

"Yesss!" Jessica exclaimed, almost more excited than me.

"Fantastic! I have been trying to make you do things usual teenagers do for the longest time, and you always hide in your music.

Here are my keys. Go to my apartment and relax, pamper yourself, and my closet is all yours; check if there is anything you would like to wear. And by the way, try to sleep; you need to rest."

"Jessi, you know you are the human version of my fairy godmother? I love you!"

I spent the rest of the day trying to relax.

I do DJ mixes, and my dream is one day to study music, but first, I want to go backpacking through Europe and end up DJing in fantastic cities far away from here.

So far, Danny is the only one who hears my remixes. He says they are lit and that I should try to connect with someone in the business, but I don't think I am ready for that yet.
