After three sets of game with Aircraft Mechanic department, ay natalo kami. It wasn't a big deal dahil magaling naman talaga sila. Engineering department was announced as the over-all winner. Napalingon ako sa puwesto nila to find Aeros, but he wasn't there. Tristan was the one who received the certificate.
The day went, I must say just fine..
I immediately hid the debit card inside my drawer.
I have no idea how much money it holds. Mula nang maibigay sa'kin ni Aunt Tamara 'yon ay 'di na pumasok sa isip ko na pakialaman pa 'yon, knowing that the money being kept in there was from my beloved mother who ran away from her fucking responsibilities with me.
She was never here....and I'd rather starved myself to death than spend her money.
A white mercedes benz was parked in front of our gate. Bumukas ang pinto ng backseat at lumabas mula doon si Mila, wearing a black bralette and a pencil cut above the knee white skirt partnered with knee-length black boots.
"Bakit 'di ka pa nakabihis?" tanong niya. Her eyes scanned my oversized shirt.
"Wala akong sinabi na sasama ako." Anas ko.
She crossed her arms "Hello? Group party to no! Required ka doon. Kasama namin si Sir Ocampo."
I remained silent.
She said, pouting.
"The party can start even without me, Mila."
"Ano ba yan! Ang dami mo pang satsat. Go get change, bilisan mo."
In the end, I was forced to get dress for that so-called victory party.
I chose a baby blue square neck ruffled crop top and black tattered jeans. Nag white loafers na lang ako for my foot wear.
I just let my hair down. I sprayed a vanilla perfume all over my neck and I also put some lip tint on so that my full lips won't look too pale.
She stood up from sitting on the small couch when she saw me.
"Conservative e'?" komento pa niya. I looked at her with annoyance and she just laughed.
After getting my sling bag, I turned to Kaye.
"Mag-lock ka ng pinto baka gabihin ako. Magdadala lang ako ng susi." Sabi ko and she gave me a nod.
"Mag-ingat kayo, Ate."
He stopped when he saw us.
"Ang tagal niyo." Tawa niya. When he noticed that I was staring at it, kaagad niya 'yong nilagay sa bulsa ng suot niyang faded blue jeans.
