“We did not.” Tawa niya at bumaba narin ng kotse. “I trust Neo.”
“Neo?” Nilingon ko siya. Like the Airbus Neo or what?
“My car,” he tapped the hood of his car.
“Tsk.”
“What do you mean?”
“I just did an impulsive act, Aeros. Nakita mo kung paano siya nagulat.”
“Yeah, I get your point,” sabi niya. “I mean, why would I tell her? She’s not my mom.”
Napabuntong hininga ako. “She’s your friend.”
“And she heard you. She’s smart, baby. I’m sure by now, she knows exactly what to do.”
“Her Dad obviously wants you to marry her.”
“And I’m not his subordinate to follow that.” He reached my hand above the table. “Stop thinking about them, I already spent a lot of years missing you. Can’t you just think about us, for now?” pumungay yung mga mata niya kaya tumango na lang ako bilang sagot.
He got himself a bowl of sukiyaki and sushi, sashimi, and a bowl of ramen for me.
I usually feel sleepy after eating, especially when I’m full.
I charged my phone and decided to take a bath. Napagod ako sa naging ganap ngayong araw.
After I took a bath, nawala ang antok ko. I decided to wear a black sweater and gray sweatpants.
The tiny dim lights were still on and the surrounding is so peaceful.
“Aeros?”
The cold wind blew against my skin, buti na lang at naka-sweater ako.
“Hey,” he stood up and slowly went to me.
“Anong ginagawa mo rito?” tanong ko. His hand held my waist to support me from walking.
“Same question.” He chuckled. I watched him as he took a sip on the canned beer he was holding.
“Mag-isa lang ako sa unit. Nawala yung antok ko kaya lumabas muna ako.”
