2: Captive Comand

3rd person pov:

Sixteen years have passed since Touya has abandoned his todoroki name. Now he goes by Dabi the sniper. He's got the name because if he's aiming the cannons. The target will be fatally hit. However, on this day. He finds himself in a predicament.

Ropes creek as limbs move. A rag tied tightly to quiet his grunts of struggling. While shigaraki stands above him. Glaring down as he struggles. Other crew members chuckle and circle around him.

Shig:"You did this to yourself, you know."

Dabi growls with one last tug. Only to pant with heavy breath and hang his head down in defeat.

Shig:"That's ashame that it had to end like this."

Shigaraki turns his back to dabi to pull the dagger out of the nearby table.

Everyone gasps, and right before shigaraki can turn back around. Dabi has an arm around shigaraki's shoulder and whispers in his hear.

Dabi:"Looks like I win again. Now pay up."

Shigaraki grits his teeth and hands dabi a tiny hemp bag of gold coins.

Everyone else cheers.

Gin:"No one can tie you down boss!"

Dabi:"How many times do I have to tell you twice? I'm not your boss."

Toga:"At this rate, we'll run out of knots to try on you."

Dabi:"That shouldn't stop yall from trying. Gotta keep practicing incase that basterd gets me."

The necklace shimmers I'm the light as dabi walks up to the crows nest. As this night, it's his turn to keep watch. Once at the top of the mass. Dabi tosses the coins up and catches them. While shigaraki climes up with a bottle of whiskey in his mouth so his hands were free to climb up.

Dabi:"Here to make another bet?"

Shigaraki tosses the bottle at dabi.

Shi:"Just shut it and drink. After all, today is your birthday."

Dabi pops the top off and chugs a bit down before passing the bottle back.

Dabi:"Don't remind me."

Shi:"So, have you heard the news? Your little brother ran away to join a pirate crew aswell."

Dabi:"Which one?"

Shi:"Shoto. He claims to have left to find you and talk you back into coming home."

Dabi:"If you see the ship he's with. Sink it. He doesn't know the truth behind that monster and was brainwashed by him."

Shi:"Yes sir."

As dabi takes another swig when it passes back. He looks up at the stars and reaches for the sky.

Shi:"Still dreaming about the sky?"

Dabi:"Yeah."

Shigaraki's smile changes.

Shi:"We got a letter today. The second in command Kai chisaki of the Navi is personally out to try and capture you. He's going to attack us tomorrow when we land to clean the ship."

Dabi:"Let him try. We'll send his corpse back. That way, it'll be there in time for his birthday."

Shi:"That's not all."

Shigaraki is nervous.

Shi:"We've been friends for awhile now. So you trust me, right?"

Dabi:"Yeah? Why wouldn't i?"

Shigaraki mutters to himself.

Shi:"I'm gonna be labeled a traitor for this, but here goes nothing."

With a deep breath in. Shigaraki sighs.

Shi:"Captain afo has made a deal to capture you tomorrow and hand you over for three ships and five chests of gold. Alongside a royal pardon."

Dabi spits out the whiskey and coughs.

Dabi:"Wh- What the fuck!"

Shi:"Make your escape tonight before the sun rises."

Dabi:"You're coming with me right?"

Shi:"Of course. I've already got the jolly boat ready. We just have to sneak out."

Dabi stands up and helps shigaraki to his feet.

Dabi:"What are we waiting for then? Let's go."

As they slide down the ropes and reach the deck. Something is off. The ship is too quiet.

Shigaraki stops dabi from taking another step so he can hear.

*Slash-crash. Thunk ti-tick. Tink.*

The sounds of waves crashing tiny somethings all around the ship, and small footsteps climbing up the sides.

Shi:"Fuck, they're here already."

Shigaraki looks off the sides and tries to cut the ropes. Only for more to get up on the other side of the ship and surround them.

Dabi ready his sword to fight. Only for shigaraki to push him onto the jolly boat and cut the ropes to drop him down.

Dabi:"What are you doing!? Come on!"

Shigaraki smiles  before charging into battle. Dabi couldn't hear what shigaraki said before he ran off. As the yelling of battle was too great.

As shigaraki battles the Navi. Twice runs out.

Twice:"Where's boss?"

Shi:"I sent him out."

Twice runs to the edge of the ship.

Twice:"He won't get far by himself."

Shi:"Which is why I'm intrusting his safety to you."

Twice nods and jumps off the ship to swim after dabi.

Dabi doesn't want to leave without shigaraki and tries to climb up. Only for Twice to climb aboard the boat and row.

Dabi:"Twice?"

Gin:"Mini boss sent me in his place to protect you. Now let's go."

Dabi:"I can't just leave him hear!"

Gin:"Mini boss is sacrificing himself to save you. Don't let his life be ended for no reason."

Dabi grits his teeth and helps dabi row out to sea.

Meanwhile, shigaraki looks out to see dabi getting away.

Shi:"Safe travels my friends."

Not long after that. Shigaraki is tackled to the deck by one of his own crew mates.

Mr. Compress:"Look what we have here, boys. A rat on our ship. What should we do with him?"

Kai:"Leave him alive. He's the only one that knows where the brat went. We'll bring him to the boss for questioning."

Shigaraki is bound in chains and is walked off the ship with the rest of the crew. Leaving the old runnedown ship to drift at sea.
