9: Lullaby Of Us

3rd person pov:

As the sun begins to set on the island. Dabi is hit with a strong sense of boredom. With a heavy sigh. He stands up and picks up the item that's wrapped in cloth.

Dabi:"I should get further away from him before pulling this out. Maybe there's a place high up with a good view of the stars and ocean."

Dabi takes a stroke around and by the time the moon is high up in t he sky. He finds a cliff over the ocean, and below it is a cave. Since it's low tide. The cave has a small beach outside of it. So dabi heads inside.

Dabi then sits by the entrance and unwraps a wooden instrument with metal pegs to hold the strings away from the base. Dabi then unwrap the tiny metal hammer pieces that he'll use to play the hammered dulcimer.

As he plays. The sound carries far. So when hawks flies once more over. He hears a beautiful melody that seems very familiar to him. So he lands on the cliff and looks around. That's when he looks down at the grave markers of his parents. Two sticks with different items that belonged to them at the base of the sticks.

Haw:"Sorry about the noise. I'll be sure to stop it so you both can rest easy."

Hawks nails grow out like a cat's as he walks to the edge to dive down. He hears dabi sing.

"The horizon seems so far away.  Though time passes on.
My love for you has only grown more strong.
Far apart we are from the warmth of an embrace.
Shackled below, I see your starry face.
Please don't shed a  tear for me, for we haven't lost.
I'll do anything to be with you no matter the cost.
I'll turn myself red for what was taken from you then.
Once I get that treasure back. They can never stop us again.

Hawks flys down infront of dabi and picks him up by the collar of his shirt. Tears in his eyes but anger boils over.

Haw:"How the hell do you know that song."

Dabi:"What happened to never wanting to see my face anymore?"

Hawks growls. So dabi surrounded and raises his arms.

Dabi:"I heard it from a siren that my father imprisoned. She would sing it everyday at sunset until she couldn't take the loneliness anymore. When she was executed. This was pulled from her stomach."

Dabi touches the necklace. So Hawks let's him go.

Haw:"So you took it for yourself to gain immortality?"

Dabi:"I took it so a basterd like him wouldn't gain immortality. I've made myself his number one target, and those men you killed were his."

Haw:"Oh I remember them. They were the ones who took my mother from me."

Dabi:"Was your mother the siren? I..... I'm sorry you had to find out like this."^Good thing I didn't mention his collection of mystical creature parts.^

Haw:"It all makes sense why she hated the water."

Hawks grasps the necklace around Dabi's neck.

Haw:"No wonder she longed for the sea, but never went in."

Dabi:"So the dream about being trapped under the water."

Haw:"Is the ocean wanting what was stolen back."

Hawks kisses the necklace before letting it go and backs away.

Haw:"Sorry about before. I'll leave you alone to play your music."

As Hawks walks away. Dabi grabs his hand.

Dabi:"Hey, you know you can stick around, right? I don't bite unless you ask."

Dabi smirks to flirt. Causing Hawks to smile.

Haw:"You humans are so weird."

Dabi: "Oh, you think I'm weird? Let me tell you about my crewmates."

As Hawks sits down with dabi to talk and enjoy the company of someone else.

Shigaraki has endured another of torture. His nails have been removed, joints dislocated, and a few ribs are broken. With every gasp of air. His breaths sound squeaky with an under rasp of fluid and shallow short breaths.

Mic:"Well it looks like I've got to prepare you for tomorrow."

As mic pulls out a cage shaped like a person, and he starts to measure Shigaraki to see if he'll fit or if it's too big. Shigaraki knows his death will be slow and painful.

Shi:"Shit"^Please forgive me touya.^"I...I'll tell you whatever you want. Just don't put me in that damn thing."

Mic stops and smiles with glee as he gets a paper and quill.
