16: Prepare To Set Sail

3rd person pov:

As izuku looks around for bakugou. Kirishima places a hand on his shoulder when izuku peeks around a corner from behind him.

Izuku squeals and turns around.

Izu:"Oh it's just you Kirishima. Please don't scare me like that."

Kiri:"Sorry but I gotta ask you something. Do you think we can trust them? We don't know if dabi is charmed or not."

Izu:"He's not charmed."

Kiri:"How can you tell?"

Izu:"He has the same look in his eyes when dabi looks at Hawks like kacchan has when he looks at me."

Izuku pats kirishima's head with a smile.

Izu:"It's the look of genuine love, not fake love."

Kiri:"I hope you're right."

Bakugou walks up behind izuku.

Baku:"Where are those two at right now?"

Izu:"They went out to get us undamaged sails from Hawks hoard."

Izuku turns around and realizes that it's Bakugou he just told that to.

Izu:"Eep."^crap I wasn't supposed to tell him.^

Bakugou pins izuku against the wall and glares at kirishima to leave them alone.

Once kirishima walks away. Bakugou leans in close to izuku's ear.

Baku:"Since you let them go without a guard. I'll have to-"

Izu:"I didn't let them go alone. Shoto is with them."

Bakugou smirks.

Baku:"Is that right? That means we're all alone?"

Izuku blushes and nods. So Bakugou kisses him deeply. Their arms begin to explore one another as they make out.

Meanwhile Hawks is carrying an unconscious dabi. While his feathers help shoto walk the sails back.

When they return to the ship. Denki greets them with concern.

Denki:"What happened?"

Hawks goes to speak but stops. Only to nuzzle dabi. As he wants to gain the crews trust.

Sho:"I'll explain everything once everyone gathers. For now  we need to hurry and get these up and going."

Denki whistles to call a meeting and bakugou growls at the sound.

Izuku chuckles and kisses Bakugou's cheek.

Izu:"Looks like they've returned."

Everyone gathers on the ship and bakugou sees Hawks carrying dabi.

Baku:"What the hell happened?"

Sho:"It's hard to explain but basically-"

Baku:"I didn't ask you. I asked it."

Hawks looks bakugou in the eyes and sees how serious bakugou is and causious he is.

Hawks:"Dabi got confirmation on your bad omen. In two days. His father will be here with a fleet."

Bakugou sighs and points to the stairs to ho below deck.

Baku:"There are hamics below to set resting beauty, but we'll need your help to set out by tomorrow night."

Hawks nods and passes dabi to shoto.

Hawks:"Tell me what's your orders captain. I'll do anything to protect what's mine."

Baku:"What a selfish creature."

Bakugou walks up and stops before passing Hawks. Patting his shoulder.

Baku:"welcome aboard fayling."

Hawks eyes widen. As he's surprised that bakugou knows the true name of super natural creatures.

Haw:"Wait, how do you know?"

Bakugou keeps walking and izuku follows behind him.

Sero:"So I heard you can lift things up with each individual feather. You'll help us put up the sails. Then you'll switch shifts to eat and rest. Then you'll escort half of the crew to find food and fresh water."

Hawks nods and lifts the sails up all at once to place them in position. Surprising sero at how fast this'll ho by. Normally this would take up to an entire day, but with hawks help. It'll only take up to four hours.
