20: Ropes And Dreams

3rd person pov:

Dabi opens his eyes as the blindfold is removed. His body is suspended up off the floor by a mix of ropes and chains. His shirt has been ripped off to expose more skin. As mic hooks onto each piercing to pull them out one by one.

Mic:"Looks like the big guy has been keeping me in business as of late. You know how this goes. So tell me what you know."

Dabi:"Piss off shithead."

Dabi glares at mic with determination. Only to be met with a smile back and a sharp stinging pain from the rip of skin on his chest from the metal ring being pulled. Instead of screams in his ears. Mic is infuriated by Dabi's laughter.

Bakugou sits in a cell and in chained in the middle of the room. Arms out to his sides and legs forced apart by a metal bar that's locked down to the stone floor. Still blindfolded, bakugou yells out profanities. Only to be met with the crack of a whip and a burn to his back.

Enji:"You're the scum of the sea and you kidnapped my son. For that you'll pay for your sins."

Baku:"Fuck you- gsh."

Bakugou whinces from the pain, but doesn't cry out.

Baku:^I know what you want, but I won't confess what you want.^"It'll take more than a tickle to get me to lie. You and I both know that he left because of you."

*CRACK!*

Baku:"Gsh Fuck."

Enji leans in close.

Enji:"Just say it and all the pain will go away."

Baku:"I admit it."

Enji:"That was quick. You realized I'm right?"

Baku:"I admit.... that your son fucks me till I'm unable to walk. Hehehahahah!"

Enji growls before the whip comes down again.

Meanwhile kirishima and izuku finds Hawks trying to crawl out of the alley.

Izuku rushes over to help lift him up.

Izu:"What happened to you?"

Haw:"I got an invitation to dinner at Enji's house."

Kiri:"Wait does he know about you? Shit that isn't good. We have to hide you before they come to get you tonight."

Haw:"That's the thing. They aren't coming. I have to go there and the hellhound said that you can lead me there."

Kiri:"I'm not letting you go. It's a trap!"

Haw:"I'm well aware of it, but it's my only shot at saving him."

Izu:"Then Dabi's sacrifice to save you would be for nothing."

Haw:"It won't be because I'll give him what he wants. I'm leaving his rescue up to you both."

Izuku looks and sees that Hawks eyes shimmer with heartache and determination.

Izu:"I'll help you, but only if you can figure out a way to set things right."

Hawks nods and kirishima helps him walk to the nearest church. Where izuku helps Hawks get ready.

By nightfall mic is exhausted and sits down to rest. As Dabi's will hasn't budged an inch. So mic gags dabi to get some rest.

Dabi tries to move but stops as this is his chance aswell to rest. Knowing there's more to come tomorrow.

Bakugou has a window by the street where he sees people walk past and the streets glowing from lantern lights.

Baku:^I hope you both are alright-^

Bakugou passes out from the pain.

As enji sits at the dinner table alone. Ururaka takes some food up to shoto. Who refuses to eat. Shoto just sits in bed curled up in a ball. So ururaka sets the food on the edge of the bed and walks away. Before shutting the door.

Uru:"Soon things will be great again. You'll see that his luck is about to run out."

Shoto looks up and sees her smile before she locks the door. So shoto eats the beef stew dinner.

That's about the time there's a knock at the front door.

Enji:"Who's that?"

Aiz:"I invited a guest that you don't want to turn down. As he's the key to your plans."

Enji smirks with a devilish grin.

Enji:"Let him in."
