Karl groaned.
Starting to wake up,ugh.
He slowly opened his eyes to a slightly dim room,he blinked his squinted eyes as he looked around.
He looked beside him,Quackity had his arms wrapped around him,lazily watching tik toks on his phone while half of his face was buried behind Karl's arm.
That's probably why Karl kept on hearing that one sound 'i I I I be poppin bottles' in his sleep.
He groaned and rolled his eyes.

Karl:"Lex could you turn that off,I was sleeping...."
Quackity looked at him.
Quackity:"oh,sorry"
He turned off his phone and tossed it on the bed.
Quackity:"are you going back to sleep?"
He said cuddling himself Into Karl some more,
Ready to go back to sleep with him.
Karl:"nahhh,you've already woken me up.."
He said as he sat up and wiped his eyes.
Quackity whined and followed,clinging onto Karl.

Quackity:"dudddee Cmon...don't leave"
Karl:"well lex I have to go to workk"
Karl scoffed as he lightly ruffled his uncovered hair before kissing his forehead.
Karl got up making Quackity lay down in frustration.
Karl looked at him phone and started stretching while looking around.
Karl:"you know...why am I speaking in first person,you have work today too?"
Quackity:"uhhh...no I don't?"
Karl squinted as he looked at the laminated shift calendar on his wall.

Karl:"yes you do!?"
Quackity groaned and kicked his feet around in the messy sheets.
Quackity:"but I don't wannnnnaaaaa gooooo!"
Karl rolled his eyes and started unbuttoning his white oversized button up.
Karl:"cmon,get up"
Quackity just whined again,this time rolling around in the bed.
Karl:"you know,you are SO much less 'in demand' then when I met you,who knew you were actually this....clingy,whiny,little bitch when you weren't being a stuck up,dominant stoner dude who fucks 24/7..."

Quackity rolled his eyes and got up.
Quackity:"do you still love me?"
He said as he let himself fall onto of Karl,Karl scoffed and held him up.
Karl:"first of all,who said I love you?"
Quackity gasped and pulled away.
Quackity:"okay Wow,thanks a lot asshole-"
Karl:"seriously? Do you love me??"
Karl crossed is arms while looking at Quackity,
Quackity looked at basically anything else while making some sort of thinking sound.
Quackity:"I......okay,I regret starting this conversation."

Karl smiled and kissed him before he continued to get ready.
Karl:"cmon,get ready our shifts start in 30"
Quackity groaned and obeyed before Karl went downstairs to make them some breakfast.
Karl hummed as he packed his lunch for that day.
Quackity came down and jogged to the door.
Karl:"wait for me!"
Karl got his things and went over to Quackity,
Putting on his shoes.
Karl:"here you go"
He said as he handed Quackity a small bottle of orange juice.

Quackity looked up at him and smiled teasingly.
Quackity:"awwww,you made me lunch? WE'RE LIKE A MARRIED COUPLLLEE-
Karl rolled his eyes and groaned.
Quackity often Tormented Karl with that specific analogy.
Karl:"alright,I didn't make you anything?? I literally just had an extra orange juice and didn't want it myself because it has pulp"
Quackity:"what? So you just fucking hate me??"
Karl rolled his eyes and stepped out of the house.

Karl quickly followed.
Quackity:"oh shit- it's cold.."
Karl looked at him while he put on his thick puffer jacket.
Karl:"where's your jacket?"
Quackity:"I fucking- forgot it was snowing!"
Karl laughed and stopped on the sidewalk.
He got out an extra scarf from his bag and wrapped it around Quackitys neck,slightly pulling him closer.

Quackity:"you packed an extra scarf?..."
He asked,not in the 'OMG UR OBSESSED W ME' joking way he usually,but genuinely endeared.
Karl just smiled.
Got out a pare of gloves and put them on Quackitys hands before taking one of them.
They started walking again,only a few more stops till the bus stop.
And they were there,and conveniently the bus came right that seconds.
