Just kid Quackity,Sapnap,George and Karl being kids,I was gonna do this "then vs. now" thing where this is when they were kids and then Quackity would return to his old hometown a few years later and see Karl again buttttt idk

Quackity was at home,spinning around on his office chair,bored out of his mind.
He was stating at the celling,just thinking about stuff like YouTube videos,club penguin premium memberships and what not.
"Lex!"
Quackity snapped out of his thoughts as his mom opened the door.
He turned to her.
Quackity:"yeah?"
"Your friends are outside"
Quackity rolled his head back and groaned.

Quackity:"ughh,tell them im not here"
"Lex,don't be rude,its a beautiful day,go outside!"
Quackity:"but I don't wanna!"
Quackity whined,he looked at him mom.
She just stood there,refusing to leave.
Quackity rolled his eyes and looked around before he got up,it sounded like it hurt him.
Quackity:"fine..."
His mom smiled and patted him on the back as he left the room.
He skipped down the stairs,got a soda to go and put on his shoes.

"Bye mom!"
He called out.
"Bye ducking! Make sure to be home by 8"
Quackity:"yeah yeah..."
Quackity sighed and left out of the front door.
Sapnap:"hey shit head"
Quackity rolled his eyes and bounced down the patio to see his two friends George and Sapnap stand there with their bikes.
Quackity:"why are you guys always harassing my mom,just text me on MySpace"
Sapnap:"you wouldn't answer"
Quackity scratched his head,he looked at George.

He was zoned out,stating at the commotion only a few meters away.
Quackitys neighbors house,he was having a birthday party on his front lawn.
Not that many people were there,but the set was up was pretty nice.
"Karl" was his name,Quackity would sometimes see him go to school or just doing weird shit on his lawn.
He once caught him just..laying there,one the grass in his backyard,stating at the sky.
Karl was weird,as far as they knew he didn't have that many friends.

He just seemed a little...different.
Quackity:"i didn't know he was older than me"
"Karls 14th birthday party!"
Said on the blue banner.
George:"cmon,lets say hi"
George said,not taking his eyes off of him.
He just let go of his bike and started walking there.
Sapnap:"George,we don't even know him?!"
George:"I do"
Quackity:"dude,he's WEIRD"

George:"how do you know?"
He said as he turned around.
They stopped.
Quackity:"he...he just is! You know I heard he likes boys!"
Sapnap:"and he's like....super catholic"
George:"so?"
Quackity:"well- he's just weird! Why do you even hang out with him?"
Sapnap:"yeah,why aren't you at the party?"
George got something out of his pocket.
A very poorly wrapped little present,he shook it.

Sounded like coins or something.
George put it back in his pocket.
George:"he's nice..and he isn't weird! He's just..kinda odd.."
Quackity:"yeah,so he's a freak."
George:"don't call him that!"
Sapnap:"since when do you care?"
George:"why are you guys being so mean,you don't know him,and your usually the nicer ones"

Quackity:"no one likes him,he's a reject and a freak-"
George pushed him,Quackity fell back on the ground.
Sapnap:"George what the hell?!"
George:"stop being a fucking pussy and get up! We're gonna go to his stupid party and were gonna say hi!
Quackity looked at Sapnap,he shrugged.
Quackity sighed and got up on his own.
Quackity:"whatever man.."
George turned around and continued walking to his party.

Quackity:"what the fuck is up with him?"
Quackity whispered to Sapnap.
Sapnap:"i don't know...you embarrassed because George pushed you?"
Quackity:"shut up..."
Sapnap laughed at him,Quackity just looked away until they got to the party.
George:"Karl!"
George called,pulling Sapnap and Quackity next to him.
Karl looked at him and smiled excitedly before he jogged over to him.

He tightly hugged George.
George just stood there uncomfortably,he didn't even push him off,he just let it happen.
Wich was unusual for him..
Karl pulled away,letting Quackity judge him.
That dorky smile,that dorky sweater,that dorky birthday crown and those dorky pants.
He was such a dork.
I mean,he was pretty but he was a dork.
Quackity couldn't lie,his smile kinda made him wanna smile too.

It was polite and happy,kinda like a butterfly or something.
Karl:"so glad you could make it! Are you staying?"
His tone was very hyper.
George:"no sorry,we have to get going..but um.."
George got the mysterious package out of his pocket,somehow it was even messed up then before.
Karl gasped and took it.
He shook it around.

Karl:"sick! Thank you George! Amazing!"
Why did he talk like a Disney character?
George lightly smiled.
George:"its not much,but um...it's something I guess.."
Karl fidgeted his hands around before giving George another hug.
That smile just didn't leave his face.
Karl:"awesome possum! Can't wait to open it!"
George:"p-please don't get too excited its really not a lot.."
Karl:"oh cmon,whatever it is,I'll love it because you gave it to me"

George smiled and shrugged.
George:"fine,I guess.."
Karl nodded.
There was a bit of silence.
George lightly shoved his two friends.
Sapnap:"oh- uh,happy birthday Karl"
Quackity:"yeah,happy birthday man.."
Karl smiled.
Karl:"thanks! I appreciate it"
Quackity felt bad,he really didn't know why he was so mean to Karl,he was like...an angel?

But while being an angel he was also a teenager who didn't seem to be interested in girls,cars,sports,getting rich,working,showing off and other "manly" stuff.
Just...cartoons and movies and physics..?
Sapnap:"nice party"
Sapnap smiled,seemingly opening up pretty quickly.
Quackity felt embarrassed for his immaturely,
But he didn't know how to reverse it.
Quackity:"uh,yeah..happy birthday.."
Sapnap:"you already said that?-"
Quackity:"shut up..."

Quackity heard Karl laugh as he looked down.
He looked at him.
Stupid dork laughing with that...incredibly comforting smile..?
Karl:"it's fine,I'll take all the happy birthdays I can get!"
Quackity couldn't help but smile a bit at his unfunny joke.
George:"hah...well we should get going-"
Quackity:"maybe we can pop by some time later?"
Karls smile somehow got even bigger.
George looked at him confused.

Karl:"that would be rad! Um..I mean,its fine if not but...yippie!"
This guy did not just say "yippie".
George:"we'll see,well...bye Karl!-"
Karl:"wait! One second,please!"
Karl pleaded before he turned around and ran away.
Sapnap:"he's cool"
George:"told you guys he's nice"
Quackity:"yeah,I mean,I guess.."

Sapnap:"i didn't notice he was so...golden retriever like,he has a nice laugh too"
Quackity scoffed.
He really wanted to say "well why don't you marry him?" But now he'd just feel bad.
He looked back to Karl who was at the table,
Doing something with his long white and blue birthday cake.
"Karl hun,are those your friends?"
"Mom don't look! Your gonna embarrass me..."
You could faintly hear through the Kids running around and playing catch.

Karl started walking back over to them,a paper plate,a napkin,a slice of cake and three plastic forks.
He handed it to George.
Karl:"here! I saved a piece just for you!"
George took it and smiled.
George:"you shouldn't have.."
Karl:"oh don't worry! I saved you the 'G' in happy birthday!"
They looked confused,but George laughed.
Must've been some kind of inside joke.

Karl:"sorry i couldn't get a bigger one,I didnt think you guys would be here.."
Sapnap:"oh,don't worry man"
Quackity:"its fine"
Karl smiled and nodded.
There was a bit of silence again.
George hugged him,it was...weird...
Quackity and Sapnap looked at each other confused,George very very rarley hugged people,let alone did it first.
He forced himself to hug Karl,but only with one arm since he had to hold the cake.

Saonap and Quackity snickered,it was honestly funny how awkward George was.
But Karl appreciated it,you could tell because he didn't hug back.
He just let George do whatever he seemed comfortable with.
George pulled away and turned around.
George:"k,bye Karl."
He said firmly before walking off.
Karl:"byeee!"
Sapnap:"uh- bye Karl!"

Quackity:"yeah,have a nice party"
Karl:"bye bye!"
Quackity and Sapnap quickly followed George to their bikes.
He sometimes got a little overwhelmed with his emotions,thats why he didn't like to express them,it felt vulnerable.
George picked up his bike.
George:"cmon,lets get going"
He said like he was stressed.
Sapnap:"dude,calm down"

Quackity went to go get his bike and they all got on their vehicles.
George:"treehouse?"
They started driving.
Quackity:"yeah"
Sapnap:"i found some weed in my sisters dresser-"
Quackity:"no."
George:"lets do it."
