Episode 25: A Moment of Darkness

(This is the shortest one, but we have three more and those chapters are long! I am grateful that I was able to finish this and make some adjustments to the plot. I have no idea how the 4/3DS/Wii U one will go, but we will cross that bridge when we get there! Enjoy!)

          "Well, that plan could've gone worse" Fox expressed as he glanced to his friends who were recovering from the attack.

He glanced to them with Falco simply laughing at his leader's tired expression. Falco put up another screen to reveal the other ships and fighters.

"Is everyone ok?" Fox asked over the speakers.

"Yes" Marth answered as he was riding in the Dolphin, "Are we almost at our destination?"

"I believe so" Olimar answered with his Pikmin holding onto his helmet.

The heroes were ready as their ships landed on a rocky platform. Everyone stepped out of the ships and were greeted with an interesting site before them. It is true they have travelled far and have seen many wonderful worlds, but they did not expect to see anything like this.

The floor was rocky and covered with a faint purple glow. The sky was holding many stars, signifying many worlds and universes. The sky was dark with the colors of black, purple, and navy. There were wormholes opening and holding entrances and exits to other worlds. Before them was a large opening to a temple of sorts.

"Well, there is only one way to go" Ike commented.

"And that's forward!" Pit finished excitedly.

Mario, Link, Marth, Pika, Samus, Donkey Kong, Captain Falcon, Kirby, and Fox took the lead to march forward with their goal to stop the villains and restore their worlds to normal.

"Well, that plan blew up in our faces" Wolf commented, annoyed and frustrated with his best ship being destroyed so easily by Kirby, "What are we going to tell the boss about this?"

They were quiet, pondering their next move. They couldn't inform Master Hand that they failed with the heroes coming after them. Bowser continued to march on ahead with a shrug. He wanted to at least inform the Master Hand and hopefully have some help to defeat Mario and his annoying friends.

"Do not worry. You won't be there to inform him" Twilight Ganondorf answered as he drew the same gun Wario had used and open fired on Bowser!

Wolf was stunned as Bowser was forced into his trophy form. Ganondorf held another gun and took aim at Wolf.

"This is what I get for helping you!" Wolf snarled as he ran to avoid the attack.

Ganondorf snarled as Twilight Ganondorf took another aim to strike Wolf. Wolf continued to run and avoid it until both aimed their guns at both sides, leaving Wolf stranded! He cursed as he tried to find a way out, but he was struck down and forced into his trophy form! They kicked Bowser and Wolf trophies away and marched to the end of the cliff to find Master Hand being held by Tabuu!

"What is this?" Tabuu asked through Master Hand, "Where are the others?"

"They fell" Ganondorf reported with a bow.

"And now, we are here to finish the mission" Twilight Ganondorf agreed as he took a bow, "So, please tell us what will do with the world"

Tabuu simply hovered in the air as he raises his head to answer, "I am close to finding the being that has created this world. I will soon have him and his power. With that, I will use it to take over the worlds and rewrite it in my own image"

Ganondorf was surprised as Twilight Ganondorf noticed this.

"What will you do to that being?" Ganondorf asked as he reflected on the power and abilities Sakurai had possessed.
