P A R T 1

It was a Saturday morning and I was having a hard time waking up my little sister, Belly. It wasn't just any Saturday morning though, today me and my family would be leaving to head to cousins for the summer. We had gone every single summer to cousins and we had always stayed in the fishers beach house. Our parents had grown up together being best friends, the tradition to go to cousins every summer was made before me and belly were even born.

No matter how hard i tried to wake belly up, she just won't, It was like she was determined to sleep in. I have no idea how she can sleep in knowing we're heading to cousins today because i would've been up in a heartbeat. I tried everything to wake her up I gently shook her, opened the curtains to let in the sunlight. But nothing seemed to work.

I was debating weather or not to just pour water on her head, i giggle to myself from the thought of it until i heard the doorbell ring. It was probably taylor coming to help belly pack last minute as belly always seemed to leave packing to like 30 minutes before we leave.

I head downstairs and let taylor in, i explain how belly won't get up and i just let taylor sort her out as i wanted to go get some breakfast. I ate my breakfast and headed back up to belly's room to help her pack up her last bits.

"Belly, Lexi we're leaving in the next 10 minutes!" mom yells up the stairs.

"Okay!" me and belly yell back in unison.

Belly tells taylor that we should probably get going.

"no wait you still have 10 minutes both of you sit." she replies. 

Belly sits on the floor legs crossed and i sit on the bed next to taylor. "Before you guys go i need to hear your summer wishes, the one thing you want to happen this summer." taylor says excitedly.

Belly replies with "uhhh i don't know"

"you liar, yes you do, you want a hot make out with conrad fisher. You want his tongue in your mouth, you dirty little slut." taylor says while laughing.

I laugh with her because Belly has has the biggest crush on conrad since she was like 11, she tries every single summer to start something with him but he always used to see her as a little kid, like a younger sister. I start thinking about what my summer wish even is because i haven't really took the time to think about it. My thoughts get interrupted when taylor waves her hand in my face.

"earth to lex" she catches my attention "so lex what your summer wish" taylor asks me tilting her head.

"um i actually haven't took the time to think about that i've been so busy working on my social media." i reply

"are you still thinking about building a platform" taylor and belly ask me.

"yep it's not going too bad i guess" i say nervously, knowing my dad doesn't like the fact i want a big following on social media.

comforting me belly says "well we're here to support you no matter what."  I smile as it's good to know she doesn't care what my dad thinks cause normally she listens to everything he says.

"girls, steven come on we need to leave in the next 5 minutes" my mom yells up the stairs.

"Okay, we'll be there now" I yell back.

"can we please make a tiktok before you guys leave" taylor say jumping up from Belly's bed.

Me and belly agree to make a tiktok with her, we scroll through a bunch of our favourite sounds and finally find one that we all know the dance to. We set up my phone and dance to the song. Taylor begs me to post it so i give in and do.

We say our goodbyes to taylor as we're getting ready to leave, Belly doesn't get that sad leaving her as taylor comes up for a few days for belly's birthday anyway. Taylor isn't really my best friend. I don't have much friends here if i'm honest that's why i love going to cousins for the summer because otherwise i'd be in my bed all summer.
