P A R T 2 0

I woke up to jeremiah carrying me up the stairs, i pretend to fall back asleep, as he laid me onto my bed. He was about to leave until i opened my eyes and told him to stay.

"jere stay please.." i begged

"lex i can't" he replied

"why not?" i questioned

"because if someone sees us they'll think we did something" he said

"they won't we'll just pretend we was having one of them sleepovers we used to have when we were little" i said excited hoping he would say yes.

Me and jeremiah always used to have sleepovers in eachothers rooms when we were little, our parents would always wake up to find us cuddled up in eachothers bed.

"fine, anything for u princess" he said giving in and kissing me on the cheek.

He went back to his room and got changed and so did i, i crawled back into bed and jeremiah got in next to me. I laid my head on his chest as he played with my hair. We eventually both fell asleep cuddling into each other's arms.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, i switch off my phone before it woke up jeremiah. I got out of bed and got dressed for my deb rehearsal. I picked out a dress and a fascinator. I put on some gloves and picked out some heals. While i was getting ready to go downstairs jeremiah was still sound asleep in my bed, i gave him a kiss on the forehead and left to go downstairs.

I was heading down the stairs for some breakfast when conrad stopped me on the way.

"so u and jere make up?" conrad asked

"uh yeh actually" i replied

"oh.. ok" conrad said sounding sad

I ignore it and head to the kitchen, i grabbed myself a bowl and made some cereal. Susannah and my mom had just come back from grocery shopping, they set the shopping bags down on the table when susannah spoke up and said "so did u lovebirds make up then or what"

"yes, and we are definitely not love birds" i lied

"don't think we didn't know jere slept in your room last night" my mom said giving me a look

"okay but we didn't do anything, we just wanted to have one of those sleepovers we used to have when we were little" i shrugged

"whatever u say lex, we all know u both like eachother" susannah said giggling

"uh i got to go to my deb rehearsal" i say trying to leave the kitchen as i was embarrassed

"wait! have u got a date yet?" susannah questioned

"uh no" i say with my head down

"you should ask jeremiah" susannah said looking excited

"he swore off balls remember" i say sounding sad

"just try, he'd do anything for u lexi" susannah said hugging me

I put on my heals and leave the house, cam had given me and belly a ride up to the country club. Cam was Belly's escort, i still didn't have one, i planned to ask jeremiah but, he'd probably say no.

We arrive at the country club and we head to the room where rehearsals will be. I was kind of nervous as i hadn't seen gigi since the party, where she had said all those things to me. I didn't have an escort so my big sister nicole danced with me. I kept stepping on nicole's feet, i was terrible in heals, that's why i never wore them.

I was dancing when jeremiah walked up to us and interrupted "may i have this dance" he asked nicole.

"ye, ye she's all yours" nicole said without hesitation

"hey lex" jeremiah smirked

"jere your gonna get me in trouble with paige" i said pointing at his bare chest

"hey steven" jeremiah whistled at him

Steven took off his blazer and handed it to jere, jere put it on so paige wouldn't tell him off, When Jeremiah was dancing with me i saw gigi give me the dirtiest look, i rolled my eyes at her then she started making a big scene.
