🌷 During their wait at Gusu, Hua Ying befriends with grandmaster Lan to the point that that old man starts to adore him with all his might and he also finds out that Lan Xichen and his ex-shidi was happily married for quite some time.
🌷 Hua Ying also manages to clear the misunderstandings between LWJ and him with the help of Lan Xichen and they reconciled soon after.
🌷 When they are at Koi Tower, Wen Qing declares Hua Ying to be pregnant, though she didn't reveal it to anyone other than the man in question himself.
🌷 Since they came there to find proof against Jin GuangYao, Hua Xuanyu uses a paper metamorphosis to sneak around. But it failes when Jin GuangYao caught him sneaking around in his treasure room. However, Jin GuangYao's attacks failed when Hua Ying came to the rescue.
🌷 Though, Xuanyu managed to come out safely, Jin GuangYao catches Hua Ying within his custody.
🌷 When LWJ and the two kids barged into the treasury followed by other guests, they could find nothing suspicious or out of place for that matter.
🌷 When Shizui drew suibian during thay commotion, everyone accuse him to be the Yiling Laozu but Song Lan and Xiao XingChen refuse the claim and take them away after threatening Jin GuangYao to release Hua Ying before things go out of their hand.
🌷 After Lan Xichen left with Jin GuangYao, LWJ takes Shizui and Xuanyu to search the burial mounds only to find the youngsters and then their parents who apparently came there for a second siege against the Yiling Laozu though it was them who had been ambushed at the end of the day.
🌷 Luckily, Crimson Rain Sought Flower saves their asses and demands for a meeting to be held in Lotus pier where he and his husband, the heavenly emperor, Xie Lian revealed everything they did wrong under the manipulation of the cunning Jin GuangYao.
🌷 Jiang Cheng also get to meet his supposedly dead family and get to know everything Hua Ying did for him as Wei Wuxian including the core transfer.
🌷 After Hua Xuanyu reveals about the title deed he saw when he sneaked into Jin GuangYao's treasury, they all set out to Yunping city to search for Hua Ying.
🌷 There, Shizui and Xuanyu sneaks into the Guanyin temple and see their mother, chained and dying while trapped inside an ancient blood array.
🌷 However, Jin GuangYao catches them but before he could do anything, the rest of the party arrive there and while they keep Jin GuangYao busy, Xuanyu breaks the array only to realize that his unconscious mother is trying to break the norm by forcing his unsealed powers to save his unborn child by speeding up their growth.
🌷 By the time Xie Lian and LWJ reach there, Hua Ying was as good as dead and Shizui was also out cold being unable to witness the horrors his mother had to go through.
🌷 Months later Hua Ying wakes up from yet another coma when it's time to give birth to his baby and asks Wen Qing to allow him to give birth naturally since it will be the last time he will be able to go through that experience for he no longer had the ability to conceive thanks to Jin GuangYao and Su She. (They forced themselves on Hua Ying so hard to the point of no recovery that it damaged his womb and soul, snatching the blessing he cherished as much as he cherished Lan WangJi.)
🌷 Unfortunately during the childbirth, Wen Qing's fears come true and Hua Ying passes away without even having the chance to see the beautiful triplets he gave birth to. But he was content after being able to have a talk with Jiang Cheng and his beloved before he left them all for reincarnation.
🌷 After that, the gods cut off their ties with the mortal realm and ghosts didn't mind wreaking havoc here and there 24/7. LWJ leaves his newborn kids under their grandparents' care and enters seclusion and Jiang Cheng had to deal with both his husband and brother-in-law all the while trying to manage his sect properly.
