"Lady Luo!"

"That was fast." Luo Ying mumbled under her breath, trying not to burst out in anger.

It was only a few moments ago she so rudely walked out of the dining room after yelling at her parents and here he comes...her possible fiance; according to her 'parents'.

God damnit!

But since he wants to play...she'll definitely help him with that. She loves playing anyways...

"Young master Yue." She greeted back, skillfully hiding away her devilish smile.

"You didn't even finish your meal." He started as if he was worried about her and she stared at the boy.

He looked much more like his father, the Sect Master with an air of an esteemed young master. While his grey-black xuan duan styled robes and the half-up-half-down hair style complimented his handsomeness, his greyish-blue eyes carried a clear hint arrogance and superiority; probably an inheritance from his mother, Lady Yue because his father was said to be a kind and patient to the members of his sect.

"I don't see how that concerns you, young master Yue." Finally breaking out of her analytical gaze, Luo Ying replied bluntly.

"Good thing my mother wasn't near." Trying to hide how hard her bluntness hit his manly ego, Yue Shaoqing commented off handedly.

Luo Ying raised an eyebrow at that, "And why is that?"

"Because she would start giving you a lecture right away." And for the umpteenth time, she found this man to be amusing and...entertaining.

"To be honest, I would like to see how she would do that. Besides, what right does she have to lecture me? It's not like I'm incapable of standing against people who think that it would be easy to control me just because I am a woman. I suggest you keep that in mind." That startled the young master as he gaped at her with wide eyes. It was joyful and thus Luo Ying decided to flame the fire more, "And I'm not joking, young master Yue. You know...it's not for nothing that they call me Bǐ'ànhuā."

"You-"

"You what? It's just a reminder before you decide to dig your own grave by mistaking me for someone that could be dealt with that easily." She reminded in a cold tone, her lips curved upwards into a bone chilling smile as her eyes glinted in dominance.

"Now I can see how you shooed your previous suitors away that fast." After a long silence, Yue Shaoqing finally managed to collect his scattered thoughts and said in a careful tone.

"I would like it if you do the same." Luo Ying suggested emotionlessly.

Yue Shaoqing, "No way. It took me a long time to convince my mother to allow me to court you. So I'm not going to back off now when I got my chance to take you as mine, A-Ying."

"It's Xianle for you and I will never allow that to happen. So back off!" Finally dropping all the courtesy she had towards the boy considering him still being their guest, Luo Ying snapped coldly, her once purplish-silver irises now shining crimson.

"Why should I?" Despite the suffocating demonic aura the girl released so out of blue, Yue Shaoqing firmly held his ground, clearly not wanting to let go.

Luo Ying declared, "You are not my soulmate."

Yue Shaoqing raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure? I mean, there is no way someone can recognize their soulmate in one single glance. Just give me a chance. I promise you won't regret it later."

"You should back off before I do something irreversible."

But Yue Shaoqing didn't care to listen.

In one swift movement he jumped forward, as if to embrace the lady but when she got distracted by it trying to defend herself against it, Yue Shaoqing locked the gift he brought as a betrothal gift around her left wrist. Right after it clicked into its place, Luo Ying's oppressing aura retracted as her eyes snapped back to normal. When she registered what happened, she blinked confusedly at the boy, not understanding what was going on.
