"Now you remember to come here? Get lost!" Jiang Cheng huffed angrily at his clingy brother who seemed to have taken it as a challenge to annoy him more. Nothing unusual though.
"Aww Chengcheng... Come on... I didn't really remember much about my previous life till I came to Gusu, you know..." The kids watched from the sidelines as their almighty elder clinging to Madam Jiang, pouting and whining like a spoiled baby.
The scene really amused them all to say the least and the sect leader Nie did good by bringing enough peanuts and wine for everyone to share while they enjoyed the free drama of the senior Yunmemg Prides.
"You! Get off of me!!" With a mix of exasperation and affection, Jiang Cheng attempted to push his brother away, but it was like trying to separate the tide from the shore. How unfortunate of him!
"No! Not until you say 'hi'."
"Fuck off!"
"Chengcheng! There are children watching!!"
"...You!"
"A-Xian... A-Cheng... Stop fighting..." The mellow voice of a young lady brought the two brothers' banter to a halt as their heads snapped towards the source of the voice. There in a beautiful lilac robe stood their elder sister in all her glory, accompanied by her husband the peacock, son the junior peacock and their twin girls. Behind them were the previous sect leader Jiang and Madam Yu. But at the moment, the two brothers' sole focus was on their sister Jiang Yanli or now known as the Lady Lianhua, Madam Feng.
"Shije!!" Unable to contain his excitement, Hua Ying was the first to react as he jumped at the lady, careful not to knock her down as he clung to her like a koala. His joy evident to everyone as he clung to her like a child seeking solace from his mother.
"You idiot! Do you think you are still a toddler to jump on a-jie like that?"Jiang Cheng's initial scowl softened into a fond smile as he watched the scene unfold before him. His memories running far back into their past when they were just teenagers without worries of the world and to the time they ran amok like undisciplinable gremlins as if there is no tomorrow. Though many things has changed since then, he felt grateful for the things that remained same; such as the bond between his childish brother and their beloved sister.
"Of course." Hua Ying pouted, still not letting go of Lady Lianhua.
"Ok ok... How old is my Xianxian then?" She played along, ruffling her childish brother's hair.
"Xianxian is three!" He declared proudly, three fingers stuck out for more elaboration. The children and everyone watching burst out in laughter at the childishness of the most powerful being ever.
"Of course, my Xianxian is three... But Shijie is sad that my A-Xian didn't come to see me sooner."
"Shije..." To Lady Lianhua's sad accusation, Hua Ying whined in protest before saying, "Xianxian's memories took a long time to recover... Then with everything that happened with my adoptive parents and a-niang clinging to me for almost two years... Xianxian couldn't come. I'm sorry, shije..."
