29) Welcome to Neitherworld

It was yet another normal day in the heavenly realm. The heavenly officials attended the court and discussed the current situation in the mortal realm as well as the other pressing matters even though they weren't going to do anything to solve them. Well, at least not the matters related to the mortal realm; that is. 

At the moment, the most pressing matter they had was their little princes' and princess's absence at the heavenly realm. None of them including the young heir of the Fenghuang clan had been there in the heavenly realm for almost over a month by now and looking at their emperor's mood getting worse day by day, the gods figured that if those kids didn't come up as soon as possible, he himself might barrel down there and drag them all home. It was a miracle that the emperor and his impulsive husband waited for this long to do just that and-

"Wài pó! Wài pó!! They- they are coming! Call wàigōng right now!!" 

Ah, speaking of the devils...

The youngest prince, Hua Lijun dashed into the court, yelling like a madman dragging his unusually disheveled twin brother and sister along with him. Even the second prince who came a little later looked no better than them as he leaned into his lover. "What the heck is going on here?" Hua Cheng bellowed, irritated by his grandson's sudden attack on him. He was in a middle of a work load, okay?

"Gege..." Quickly responding to his husband's call, Hua Cheng stopped frowning at his grandson before hurrying to Xie Lian's side.

"Gege... what is happening?" He asked softly, taking his husband into his arms.

"I-"

"Your majesty!" It was Ling Wen who noticed the shift in the air before anyone; "Someone's ascending."

At that announcement, everyone eyed the kids carefully and they clearly saw how their excitement grew with that announcement. But what could possibly excite them to-

"San Lang! Could it be that-" Xie Lian gasped before scrambling out of the hall not even bothering to complete what he tried to say. The kids followed soon after without delay. 

At first, no one seemed to understand what exactly was going on but when it did, they all felt an extremely high spiritual aura engulfing the heavenly realm. The heavenly bell rang like it was going crazy. This time, it even suppressed the impact of Xie Lian's ascension. 

"Your majesty..." Ling Wen began in astonishment.

"Whoever that is... it's not going to be someone simple." Shi Qingxuan murmured under her breath, curious to know the person who had the ability to even suppress the heavenly emperor and he was the bestest of the best out there...

"It indeed isn't. They aren't anywhere near 'simple', Lady Wind Master..." A mellow voice spoke, startling everyone out of their astonishment. 

"Your highness Siming!" Hastily bowing down, the gods greeted the lady, earning a pleasant smile from her in return.

"It's fine. It's fine. I just came down to ask you all to wait for a while to meet them. I'll introduce them to you when we talk with them first. Okay?" She asked softly as she watched the heavenly light continue to ascend towards high heavens, not stopping there at heavenly realm among the heavenly officials.

"We'll see you soon." It was what she said before vanishing from there just like she came earlier, leaving everyone to deal with their own feelings for the time being.
