3rd Person POV
It's been a few days since Blake and (Y/N) went on their date. During that time, (Y/N) and Blake got a lot closer and went on another date. Once their friends found out the two were dating, they made sure to tease them every chance they got because that's what friends do. (Y/N) also trained with the sword of light during his free time making sure to reduce the energy it takes out of him to nothing since it still used some of his energy.
During those few days, Ruby also began to train with Ozpin and (Y/N) to be able to use her silver eyes on command. It was very difficult for her at first, but over time. She managed to be able to use a little bit of their power. Like being able to put some beowolfs in stone or disintegrating a few smaller Grimm. However, using her silver eyes did take a lot out of her. Which brings us to now. Ruby was currently standing in the middle of the Emerald Forest with her eyes closed as Ozpin and (Y/N) watched from the sidelines.
Ruby kept her eyes closed as she focused. Soon, the air around her got faster which (Y/N) and Ozpin noticed. The two then saw a Beowolfe begin to approach Ruby. The beowolfe kept slowly approaching Ruby. Once it was close enough the Grimm ran at her before jumping at her. Ruby then opened her eyes and a bright light emitted from them. The Grimm was immediately disintegrated.
Soon more Grimm came out of the woods and charged at Ruby. However, her silver eyes managed to disintegrate them all. Some went after (Y/N) and Ozpin who quickly disposed of them. Once the Grimm were disintegrated Ruby fell to the floor exhausted. (Y/N) walked up to her with a water bottle and handed it to her.
Ruby: Thanks (Y/N). You're a lifesaver.
(Y/N): No problem Ruby.
Ozpin then walked up to the two.
Ozpin: You've improved a lot today Ms. Rose. You can now deal easily with Beowolfes and other smaller Grimm, potentially Ursa's as well.
Ruby looked at Ozpin with smile as she drank from her water bottle.
Ruby: Thanks professor. I just wished that using my magical eyes didn't drain me that much.
(Y/N): Don't worry you'll get used to it. Heck, summoning (Summons swords of light) this thing took a lot out of me the first few times.
Ruby smiled at (Y/N).
Ozpin: I suppose we'll continue your training tomorrow. After that, we'll continue after the Vital Festival.
Ruby looked at Ozpin shocked.
Ruby: WHEN'S THE VITAL FESTIVAL!?!?!?
Ozpin looked at the two confused.
Ozpin: It's next week. Did you forget Ms. Rose?
Ruby nodded while giggling nervously making (Y/N) laugh at her which made her pout. Ozpin sighed before smiling.
Ozpin: Well, I suppose you better get back to your team to prepare for the tournament.
Ruby nodded and said goodbye to Ozpin and (Y/N) before speeding off with her semblance. The two then looked at each other.
Ozpin: So, how's your progress with the sword gone? Have you uncovered any more of its abilities?
(Y/N): No, I've been mostly focusing on making sure it doesn't reduce my energy a lot when using the other abilities. Thankfully, the energy usage is almost nonexistent except for one attack that does still take a lot out of me.
Ozpin: I see. Good work (Y/N). Also, I have question regarding the Vital Festival.
(Y/N): Oh? Well, what is it?
