Ruby and Penny were seen running around the streets of Atlas killing off any Grimm they saw. As they were fighting, an explosion occurred behind Ruby which sent her flying through a window.
Penny: Ruby!
Penny quickly flew down towards where Ruby was and looked inside.
Penny: Ruby, are you alright!?
Ruby stood up as she rubbed the back of her head in pain.
Ruby: I'm good. But what caused that explosion?
The two then heard more explosions happening outside and looked at each other worried. They quickly ran out of the building and saw Atlas and Mantle being bombarded with missiles. Ruby and Penny quickly got onto the roof of a building and looked over at where the missiles were coming from.
Their eyes widened as in the distance a giant robot could be seen shooting Atlas and Mantle.
Ruby: What in the world!?
Penny: Is that a giant robot!?
The two of them then saw multiple airships flying towards it. They began to open fire at the robot who activated a barrier, shielding it from their attacks. The robot then let out an EMP that caused all the airships to crash down into the ground.
Ruby and Penny watched on in shock as back in Atlas Ironwood was seen staring at the robot from his office with a glare. Ironwood then pressed a button on his scroll and spoke.
Ironwood: Activate the Atlas weapons system!
Soldier: General! We can't!
Ironwood looked at his scroll in shock.
Ironwood: What do you mean you can't?
Soldier: We're doing the best we can, but it seems something is blocking us from activating them.
Ironwood: Damn it.
Ironwood then looked back at the robot who continued to fire upon kingdom.
Ironwood: Very well then. To all units, take out any missiles fired upon Atlas and Mantle. Until we find a way to take out its barrier do not get near it.
As Ironwood said this, multiple airships flew throughout the kingdom as they shot any missile that got close to the kingdom. However, some of them got hit and crashed into the city and Mantle. Ruby and Penny seeing this nodded as they made their way towards the robot.
Watts, Neo and Roman could be seen smirking as they destroyed Atlas and Mantle. However, Roman received an alert and looked at the screen next to him, seeing Ruby and Penny approaching the robot.
Roman: Oh wonderful. Little red once again getting involved.
Roman pressed a button to talk to Watts.
Roman: Watts. Little red and the robot are making their way towards us.
Watts took in Roman's words before a sinister smile appeared on his face. Neo looked at him with a curious look.
Watts: Is that so. No need to worry Roman. Continue destroying Atlas and Mantle.
Roman: Are you sure?
Watts: Positive. The girl won't be an issue, when she's too busy fighting her friend.
Watts then took out his scroll and pressed a few buttons. A hologram of Penny then appeared in front of him. Watts then pressed on the hologram, making it go from a blue color to red. Back with Ruby and Penny who were approaching the robot, Penny's eyes widened as they flashed a red color causing her to fall into the ground and yell in pain. Ruby hearing this stopped using her semblance and turned around.
