Watts was walking in a dark corridor with his hands in his pockets. The sounds of machinery and construction filled the base he was in, and only got louder the deeper he walked into it. After a few more seconds of walking, Watts arrived at a door and opened it, he then walked inside and saw the construction of a huge robot.
Watts smirked before looking over at the scientists his group had kidnapped the day prior. They all had an explosive attached to their necks in case they tried to escape. Watts then took out a scroll and searched something on it. As he did, Roman approached the man.
Roman: So, tell me. How do you plan to stop (Y/N) from destroying your toy in one second?
Watts: That's what Spectre will be taking care off. I'm merely doing my job and following orders.
Some schematics then appeared on Watts' scroll catching Roman's attention.
Roman: What's that?
Watts: Blackmail.
Watts then showed Roman a hologram of Penny.
In Atlas Academy
The sounds of swords clashing could be heard inside the training room. (Y/N) and Jaune charged at one another and swung their swords. (Y/N) quickly went on the offensive and began to attack Jaune relentlessly while Jaune focused on blocking his attacks.
Jaune quickly backflipped away and surrounded his sword in a golden aura before running at (Y/N). (Y/N) smirked and surrounded his sword in a golden aura. The two then began to trade blows as they both had small smirks on their faces. (Y/N) quickly parried Jaune's attack and kicked him away. Jaune quickly stopped himself with his hand and chuckled.
Jaune then stood up and held his sword tightly as (Y/N) jumped over to him and swung his sword downward. Jaune raised his sword and blocked the attack before pushing (Y/N) away. (Y/N) recovered midair and landed gracefully on the ground.
(Y/N): (You've improved so much... Jaune.)
As (Y/N) prepared to attack Jaune again the two heard the door to the training room opening and stopped. They then looked over and saw General Ironwood entering the room.
(Y/N): James.
Jaune: General Ironwood.
Ironwood: Good morning. It's nice to see you two taking full advantage of the training room.
(Y/N): Well, with the evil witch almost at our doorstep. It's better to be ready.
Jaune: Yeah. Although, if we're being completely honest. It'll mostly be you and Ruby doing all of the work.
(Y/N): Against Salem, probably.
Ironwood: (Y/N)'s right Jaune. However, we'll be needed to fend of Salem's army of Grimm and her other allies.
(Y/N): True. Cinder is still a very dangerous threat. Not to mention from what you guys told me back at Argus. That Hazel guy was no joke, and Tyrian sounds like an annoying enemy to fight against. And then there's the possibility of Spectre being alive.
Jaune: (Sighs) It's going to be a long day when the fight starts huh?
Ironwood: Without a doubt. Which is why we all must make sure we're ready for the long battle ahead. Now then, it's time.
