Chapter 49

3rd Person POV

(Y/N) and Ruby saw a young eight-year-old boy playing with a stick, pretending it was a sword while a man and woman who was holding a little baby girl saw him playing with smiles on their faces. 

Jinn: Hector was like any other child his age, enjoying life and having fun anyway he could. His parents, Jonathan and Martha had chosen to live far away from the rest of the world on a small island. Far from the Grimm and mankind's wars. 

As Hector was playing with the stick he stopped and looked over at the horizon, seeing the clear blue ocean, the blue sky and the birds flying over. 

Jinn: Hector was always curious about the world outside of his home. What where the Grimm? How did the kingdoms look like? What adventures would await him if he were to leave the safety of his home and go out into the real world? 

As Jinn said this a frown appeared on Jonathan and Martha's face. 

Jinn: Martha and Johnathan knew that their son would eventually want to venture out into the world. And it scared them. What would happen to him? Would he be ready to face the dangers that wait him? 

Everyone then saw Johnathan walk up to Hector with a sword in hand. 

Jinn: It was at that moment that Jonathan decided to train his son, to prepare him for the dangers that would await him. 

The two then charged at one another, as they did, blue smoke then covered everyone's eyesight making them cover their eyes. 

Jinn: In another part of the world, two babies had been born. 

They all then heard the sound of a baby crying. Everyone opened their eyes and saw two parents holding a little baby girl. They saw that the woman managed to calm her down by giving her a small teddy bear. 

Woman: Look at her honey, isn't she beautiful.

That man smiled at his wife before looking at his daughter. 

Man: She is. 

Woman: And look, she has your eyes. 

The man looked at his daughter's eyes to see she also had silver eyes. 

Man: Indeed. But what should we call her? 

Woman: How about....... Mary!? 

Man: Mary?

The man then took his daughter from his wife's arms and lifted her up into the air. The baby looked at her father curiously. 

Man: It's perfect.

The man smiled before making funny faces that made his daughter start to laugh. The mom smiled at the warm scene. Meanwhile, in another part of the village they stayed in. A woman could be seen holding a baby with a smile on her face as she was surrounded by her family. She then looked at a sword in the corner of the room she was in. Her eyes began to fill with tears.

Mom: If only you were here. 

The mom then looked down at the baby in her arms who was currently sleeping. She smiled as she touched his cheek. 

Mom: I'll name you after your father. Jacob. 

The little baby in her arms gave a small smile. Everyone was then teleported into space, they all looked down and saw Remnant in all its glory. Suddenly, they saw a yellow beam emerge from an island on the planet. They then saw two white beams emerge from another part of the world, these ones coming from the village they had just been in. And finally, there was a green beam that emerged from another part of the world.
