Chapter 30

3rd Person POV

All that could be heard throughout all of Vale were the screams of everyone. The White Fang attacked and destroyed countless shops and homes. They killed anyone that stood in there way whether they were human, or Faunus. As for the Grimm, they killed anyone that moved, the Vale police department and Atlas military shot at all the Grimm and White Fang Members they saw. 

Meanwhile in the sky, Atlas ships attacked the flying Grimm. Vale had turned into an all-out warzone. 

Back in the Colosseum, the Nevermore managed to break through the barrier and landed right in front of (Y/N), Ruby, Team JNPR, and Penny. (Y/N) quickly opened his pocket dimension and took out his sword, he then transformed into its scythe from and tossed it to Ryby who caught it. (Y/N) then summoned the sword of light. The Nevermore roared at the students before flying at them. 

(Y/N) quickly teleported above its head and swung down his sword, decapitating it. A few other Grimm came flying in. (Y/N) and Ruby quickly jumped at all of them, slicing and dicing them all as Grimm body parts flew around everywhere. One Grimm almost hit Ruby, but she used her semblance to appear behind it at fast speeds and swung down (Y/N)'s scythe, cutting it in half. The two then looked up and saw more coming in, however, they were all shot down by Nora and Ren. They looked at them. 

Ren: You guys focus on the ones coming in!!!

Nora: YEAH! We'll provide suppressive fire and protect Pyrrha and Penny!!!

(Y/N) and Ruby nodded, and they focused back on attacking all the other Grimm that came in. As the fight was happening everyone heard loud screeches coming from above. They all looked up and saw hundreds of Grimm flying at them from above. Ruby prepared to use her silver eyes but was stopped by (Y/N). 

(Y/N): Don't waste your energy here. I'll take care of them. 

(Y/N) then aimed his sword upward and shot a beam of light out from his sword. The bean disintegrated all of the Grimm in an instant. They all then saw some Grimm jumping in, making everyone groan. (Y/N) and Ruby prepared to charge at them when out of nowhere, a few swords came flying from behind them and stabbed the Grimm in the head. They saw three had survived, but not for long as Pyrrha's shield came out of nowhere and decapitated them. Team JNPR, (Y/N), and Ruby looked behind them and saw it was Pyrrha who had thrown her shield and Penny who still had control of her swords. Jaune and Ruby ran up to them worried. 

Jaune: Pyrrha what are you doing?!?!

Pyrrha: I can still fight.

Jaune: Pyrrha, you're hurt, you need to-

Pyrrha: Jaune. 

Pyrrha gives Jaune a smile.

Pyrrha: I'll be fine. I promise. 

While this was happening, Ruby looked at Penny worried. 

Ruby: Penny. 

Penny: It's alright Ruby. I am always Combat Ready!!!

Ruby: But you're hands-

Penny: Don't worry Ruby, I can still control my swords even without my hands. 

Ruby saw Penny smiling at her and sighed before nodding with a smile. They all then heard loud screeches of pain coming from behind all of them. They turned around and saw (Y/N) killing every single Grimm that came in. Once he was done, he walked up to them while carrying Pyrrha's shield. 

(Y/N): Are you two sure you can fight? 

Penny and Pyrrha nodded. This made (Y/N) give Pyrrha back her shield.
