3rd Person POV

Yang and Weiss were currently sitting down in front of Raven as Vernal prepared some tea for all of them. As she did this Yang just glared at Raven with her arms crossed. Once Vernal finished Raven thanked her and told her to wait outside.

Yang: So, what's the truth?

Raven said nothing as she drank some of her tea first.

Raven: You know, it's better when it's hot.

Weiss: You know, you're really obnoxious.

Raven just shrugged at her and looked back at Yang.

Raven: The truth is that truth, is hard to come by. A story of victory for one person, is a story of defeat for someone else. By now your uncle has told Ruby and her friends plenty of stories.

Yang: Well, he's never given me a reason to doubt him before. I can't say the same about you.

Raven: That doesn't mean those reasons don't exist-

Yang: Can you get to the point.

Raven glared at Yang who had her arms crossed.

Yang: What is this truth that you want me to know about? I don't want to sit here wasting my time listening to your past. I already know that you and Qrow were raised in this tribe. Just tell me, what you want to tell me.

Raven: (Sighs) Fine. But I'll have to add in some context first.

Yang: Go ahead.

Raven: When me and your uncle first joined Beacon and took the initiation, we breezed through it. It was child's play. And Ozpin caught wind of our abilities. So, he decided to keep an eye on us, team STRQ.

Yang: What do you mean by that?

Raven: Constant attention, extra training missions, and turning a blind eye whenever we broke the rules and got into trouble. Sound familiar to you?

Yang: What's your point?

Raven: How much do you know about Professor Ozpin? About his past.

Weiss and Yang looked at her confused.

Weiss: He was a prodigy, one of youngest headmasters to be appointed to a school.

Raven: Because that's how he planned it. Because the man you know as Ozpin designed those schools. And has followers inside every academy on Remnant that are loyal to him, and no one else.

Yang: That doesn't even make any sense, how could he have- No, why would someone even do that!?

Raven: Because old man Oz has a great and terrible secret. One that could spread fear across the world. One that he eventually entrusted to our team, and once I knew, there was no turning back. I needed to know more, and the more I found out, the more horrifying the world became.

Yang got up from the ground and looked at Raven.

Yang: Ok, then tell us. What's the big secret? What's so crazy that the rest of us don't know!?

Raven: The creatures of Grimm, have a master called Salem. She can't be stopped, she can't be killed, she can't be reasoned with, and she will not rest until humanity crumbles at her feet.

Yang and Weiss looked at Raven in shock, not believing a word she had said.

Raven: You know the both of you haven't even touched your tea.

Yang: Why should we believe any of this!?

Raven looked at Yang and began to walk towards her.

Raven: Now you're catching on, so far you've done nothing but accept what others tell you. But you need to question everything.
