Yang had decided to stay in Patch instead of going with Ruby and the others since she still needed to clear her head from what happened back at Beacon, she also said that she wanted to train with her father so that next time she faced Adam, she wouldn't get destroyed.
Currently, Yang and her father Tai were training just outside of their house while Zwei watched.
Yang: Hya!!!!!
Yang went to punch her father who ducked and punched her in the abdomen sending her back a few feet. Before Yang could recover Tai went on the offensive and proceeded to attack Yang who blocked some of his attacks but was still hit by a few. Yang tried to swing at her father, but he sidestepped her attack with ease making her fall forward. Tai then tried to kick her but she backflipped over him. Once she landed, she quickly tried to kick Tai, but he quickly grabbed her leg and threw her to the floor. Yang groaned in pain.
Yang: Ow.
Tai laughed at his daughter and went to help her up.

Tai: Come on, you've totally been hit harder than that during your time at Beacon.
Yang: Yeah, but that still doesn't mean I can't feel pain.
Tai chuckled as he helped his daughter up. He then tossed her a water bottle.
Yang: Thanks dad.
Yang then sat down on the floor and began to drink the water bottle as Tai looked at her with a questioning look.
Tai: So, why exactly have you training so much these past few weeks?
Yang stops drinking her water bottle and looks at her father.
Yang: What do you mean?
Tai: Yang. The last time you trained this hard was when you couldn't stand up to some bullies that were bullying Ruby back in Signal Academy. What's wrong?
Yang looked down, not wanting to answer the question. Tai sighed and sat down next to her.
Tai: (Worried) What happened back at Beacon Yang?
Yang: It's just...... there was this guy called Adam from the White Fang. Me, Blake, and Weiss fought him while the rest of our friends dealt with........... him.
Tai: ........ Spectre?
Yang nodded as a disappointed look appeared on her face.
Yang: Adam........ he easily overpowered me and my teammates. He took out Weiss with no issue, and me and Blake could barely hold our own against him. He just seemed so fast and too...... powerful. As I kept fighting him alongside Blake, I........... I saw all our friends slowly fall to Spectre. I saw how Velvet and Coco from team CFVY were trying to crawl towards each other, but Coco got kicked away by Spectre. I saw how he disintegrated team BRNZ too nothing, how he killed team ABRN. If I could've just been stronger than Adam and beaten him, then maybe, maybe me and Blake could've joined the fight, maybe they would've made it back to their families.
