Chapter 59

3rd Person POV

Blood fell from Ruby's face as Salem held her by the neck while holding an eye in her hand. Suddenly, Salem was punched away by (Y/N) who flew after her and began to attack her repeatedly before kicking her away and firing a Duruora at her causing an explosion in the air. 

The scenery then changes to show (Y/N) and Salem shooting their attacks at one another, resulting in a beam clash. (Y/N) then flies into his beam before rushing at Salem whose eyes widened. 

The scenery than changes to Salem attacking (Y/N) relentlessly as the ground began to be covered in his blood. Each attack from Salem resulted in (Y/N) getting closer and closer to death as he couldn't do anything but take her attacks head on. 

Salem then throws him towards Ruby's unconscious body before flying into the air and preparing a massive attack above her. 

Salem: No more tricks. No more fighting. You two are defeated! Now die!!!

Salem then launched her attack at the two defeated heroes. (Y/N) looked on in fear and anger as he couldn't do anything to stop the attack. 

(Y/N): (Never thought I would die twice. Crazy how life works. Sorry Blake....... and everyone else. Looks like me and Ruby are not going to make it back. Good luck.)

(Y/N) then took a deep breath and closed his eyes as he prepared for the end. As Salem's attack grew closer and closer to them with only seconds from hitting them. (Y/N)'s eyes opened wide as an idea had come to his mind. (Y/N) quickly aimed his hand towards the ground as blue sparks began to appear. 

(Y/N): (Come on! Work!)

(Y/N) then managed to open his pocket dimension beneath him and Ruby and the two fell into the pocket dimension. (Y/N) then turned around and closed the pocket dimension as Salem's attack made contact with the ground. 

Ruby and (Y/N) could be seen floating around in the pocket dimension as (Y/N) tried his best to maintain consciousness. He slowly floated his way to Ruby as he did his best to stop his eyes from closing. After a minute he finally reached her and put his hand near where she had been stabbed. His hand then glowed as he stopped the bleeding for at least a few hours. (Y/N) then went to do the same to her left eye but his body finally started to give in to his injuries. 

(Y/N): Darn.... it. 

(Y/N) then lost consciousness as the two floated inside the dimension pocket. The two continued to float around as the hours passed. After a while, (Y/N) opened his eyes as he gasped. He tried to move but groaned in pain as his body was to damaged to move. (Y/N) then began to look around with his eyes frantically. 

(Y/N): (How long.... have we been here? Could it be safe to go out? Ruby!)

(Y/N) slowly turned his head as he looked around for her. Luckily, she was still floating right next to him. (Y/N) sighed in relief before trying to come up with a plan. 

(Y/N): We can't stay here forever. 

(Y/N) then raised his right hand forward with lots of struggle as he grits his teeth in pain. Blue sparks began to appear albeit very small ones. 

(Y/N): Come on....... come on. 

(Y/N) continued to try and open his dimension pocket but he could only get a few blue sparks. he continued to struggle for a few minutes as he made no progress. (Y/N) in a fit of rage surrounded his hand in a golden glow despite the pain and let out a yell as the dimension pocket finally opened in an instant. However, this caused (Y/N) to start coughing violently as he began to cough out blood from his mouth. Not only that, but his injuries began to hurt more.
