Carmin let out a shaky breath as she did the burpees that Johnny had demanded they do after Daniel Larusso had stormed into the dojo, talking about how they ruined his dojo, then left with half of the Cobra Kai class. "This can all be over in an instant! The decisions yours!"
Johnny yelled at them for the millionth time, walking amongst almost patronizingly slow. Carmin thought she could die at any given moment at that point in time. "Who trashed the Miyagi Dojo?!"
Johnny shouted again, only anger in his voice, everyone stayed silent. The only sounds were huffs of pain and tiredness, but Carmin knew who did it. How could she not?
Hawk had been avoiding eye contact with her the whole day. He might as well have spray painted his hands red as it was clear to Carmin who had did it. But she wouldn't say anything, because even though he'd messed up big time. She knew if Hawk took one more knock to the head, he'd go off the rails.
"Y'all know I'm no fan of Larussos but that sort of bullshit we don't teach in here. At least not anymore. So, I'm gonna ask you again. Who trashed Miyagi-Do?"
Johnny shouted again, Carmin jumped slightly at how loud he was with an almost echoing effect in the room. She continued to do her burpees, sure she would vomit all over Bert in the next few minutes, "It was not me, Sensei. I would never disrespect another man's dojo." Chubs gasped out in tired breaths, holding his sides, red in the face.
"Shut your cake hole, chubs!" The man continued to do the exercises while Johnny simply rolled his eyes. "Damnit, Mint, you look like you're going to explode." Carmin sent the man the bird before collapsing on the ground.
"I think you killed her, Sensei!" Aisha called as Carmin sat back up, before going back down with a groan. "Sensei, we really don't know who did it." Miguel whined tiredly as he came up from his burpee before going back down, "Somebody knows something.. Question is who's gonna break."
Johnny shouyed as he stepped over Carmin's nearly deceased body. Her eyes went to Hawk, who had finally met her gaze. He shook his head after a moment, Carmin rolled her eyes but nodded her head. The ring of Johnnys phone, captured everyone's attention, he waved them off. "Keep going we can do this all day, Miguel get your girlfriend off my mat!"
Miguel rolled his eyes at the older man's comment before grabbing ahold of Carmin, pulling her to the side, "Sensei, we need a water break." Assface spoke loooking at Kreese, who looked around at everyone's tired faces, "Two minute break!"
Everyone sighed in relief, the usual group went over to where Carmin laid, sitting down around her while drinking water. Miguel passed her, her water bottle which she took gratefully but moved like a turtle. Hawk walked over to Kreese, Carmin diverted her suspicious gaze away from the sight.
