Miguel Diaz was the best friend to ever exist. That's how Carmin viewed him anyways, he was sweet, sensitive and protective. Miguel Diaz had always been to good for this world.
And despite his love, he was naive, stupid and stubborn but never selfish. Karate had saved Miguel but it also destroyed him. He lost himself, he fell of the path, and he'd changed.
But one moment had changed everything, one mistake. He'd kissed a girl, in a stupid, sad display of emotions that he regretted, because that one moment would change his life.
Before that he was doing fine. He was happy, he was a champion, had a strong girlfriend, his friends at his side and he had his best friend. That one mistake had single handled changed the course of his life.
One kiss. He'd lost it all.
His girlfriend on a hunt for revenge, took away not only his own, but Carmin's happiness. And soon enough, he lost Carmin too. And she was the one person he never thought he could lose but he did. He did lose her and no matter how hard he tried to get her back, the more time passed and the farther she went.
"Do you want me to come with you?" Faith questioned as they came up outside of the infirmary where Miguel was. "No, I'm fine, thank you." Faith gently squeezed her hand before walking away, Carmin took a deep breath.
"Come on, we've got thirty minutes, let's show your back who's boss." Carmin rubbed her hands for a minute, silently debating if she wanted to go in or not. Finally, she pulled herself together, going into the opening of the door, she knocked on it.
"Hi.." Johnny and Miguel both jumped up in surprise, seeing the girl standing at the door. "Who ran you over?" Johnny questioned, seeing the girls hair was everywhere, and there was dried mascara on the side of her eyes.
"Gee, thanks, White Man, you never change." Johnny smiled slightly before shrugging his shoulders sheepishly, "How's your back?" She questioned, leaning against the door frame, "What are we friends now? I don't need you psyching him out, so no offense but get your Cobra butt out of here."
Carmin put her hands up as Miguel went to defend her, "I'm not in Cobra Kai anymore." Johnny and Miguel shared a wide eyed look, "What?" She nodded her head softly, "You were right about Kreese, I'm sorry it took me so long to realize that."
She apologized, looking down at her feet, "What'd he do? I mean.. why'd you leave now?" Miguel questioned the girl, who let out a huff, "I caught Kreese trying to manipulate me.. I didn't want to be a pawn anymore."
