Carmin hates holding grudges.

Maybe that's why she saw so quick to forgive her sister and mother when they began to make the effort. Maybe that's why she didn't hate Robby. Maybe that's why she made sure that Tory didn't have to worry about juvie.

And maybe that's why she was currently inside the Nichols apartment, cooking her best pasta for the family of three. Tory wasn't home yet. Carmin probably wouldn't have been let in.

But Brandon was home, playing with the new video game that Carmin had bought him. She'd come barring groceries, she did this before she went into a coma. She knew it helped Tory a lot and she really wishes to fix things between them.

And by doing this, she knew Tory would understand that Carmin wasn't upset with her. The door to the apartment was thrown open slightly, "Brandon, mom! I'm home, I'll start cook-." Tory cut herself off as she saw Carmin already setting out the plates of food.

"Wh-what are you doing here?" Tory whispered slightly, glancing back at her brother and past Carmin to her mother's hospital bed. "Well, you've been ignoring me so I figured I'd come to you."

Tory stared at her, unsure what to say as she looked the girl over, "You didn't-.. you didn't have to do any of this.. you owe me nothing." Tory spoke as she looked at the restocked pantry cupboards. "I know." Carmin replied simply.

"You're my friend, Tory, you messed up but I'm not gonna hate you forever." Tory looked down slightly, "Did you?.. did you hate me?"

Carmin smiled slightly at the blonde, "No." she answered, shaking her head, "Disappointed? Yes.. but hate you? No." Tory stared at the girl rather tearfully, "Carmin.."

Tory grabbed the girls hand, "I am so sorry.. I was just.. I was so pissed and I thought you'd- I thought you'd lied to protect them and I just.. you're the only person outside of my family who I care about and hurting you was the biggest regret of my life."

Carmin pouted slightly, "I would never lie to you, it took everything in me to not tell you the minute I saw it but Miguel swore up and down he'd tell you the next day.. I guess you'd already seen everything." Tory nodded her head., "I don't know what I was thinking."

Carmin shrugged as Tory sat down at the table, "None of us were thinking correctly. It was the adrenaline, I guess.. so you going to still ignore me for life or?" Tory stood up again, pulling Carmin into a hug, "I don't know how I'll ever repay you."

"You can repay me in hugs and kisses." Tory laughed slightly as Carmin pulled away from the hug, "Come on, I made dinner." Tory grinned as she was handed the plate of pasta and a slice of garlic bread. "You really are an Angel on earth."

Carmin blushed, "Brandon, come eat." The boy hurried over, taking his plate before heading back to the living room to continue playing. Offering a quick thanks and side hug to Carmin, the girl grabbed another plate, taking it over to Mama Nichols who smiled gratefully at the girl.
