Guilt.
Guilt was something Carmin had felt before, plenty of times, for the last few months every morning she woke up feeling guilt, every night she went to sleep with a guilty conscience. This was for a number of things, she regretted a lot of her past actions.
And while she had been forgiven by those she hurt, and brought back into the good graces of those she loved. She still felt guilty. The thing she was guilty for was the thing she'd felt guilt over for the last month.
The All Valley Cheating Incident.
It's been eating the girl alive. She wondered what Tory felt, especially as the blonde was still there and the more the two were apart, the less they spoke. Carmin wondered if Tory had told anyone about the incident, Carmin needed to tell someone, anyone, and who's better to tell than Faith Costa.
"I mean.. he looks at me like he likes me but he isn't saying anything? Do you think I'm being delusional?" Faith turned to Carmin, who was staring off into space, Faith looked at the girl in confusion, "Min?.. Earth to Min?" Faith called in a sing song voice, "Huh?"
Carmin glanced at Faith, who sat back down in front of her, "Okay, what's up? And don't say nothing because I can clearly tell somethings up." Carmin let out a huff before shaking her head, "You better tell me, Carmin, or I'm telling Robby that you're hiding something and you know him and how much he bugs."
Carmin sighed drastically, "Fine! But you can't tell anyone. And I mean, not Robby, not Miguel, Meila, your moms or the Lord himself, this stays between us." Faiths eyes widened, she pulled her teddy bear into her chest and nodded, "Alright.. this is serious."
Carmin licked her lips, "You remember how the All Valley was supposed to be my last day as a Cobra?" Faith nodded her head slowly, "And it was?"
The older girl tilted her head to the side, "Well, yeah.. but like I was supposed to win the tournament and then drop the Cobras, remember?" Faith slowly nodded her head, "Yeah, but I thought you quit to go with Miguel."
"I quit before Miguel.. I overheard Silver tell Kreese that.. that he'd paid the referees so that Tory and I would win." Faiths jaw dropped in shock, "Are you serious? Does Tory know?"
Carmin nodded her head slowly, "Yes, she knows, we agreed not to say anything because who knows what could happen." Faith nodded in understanding, "Bet that feels good to get off your chest."
"Oh, you have no idea."
"Did you catch that video I sent you of last years Sekai Taikai?" Eli questioned Miguel as they walked side by side, Carmin and Robby trailing behind them. Having just arrived at the dojo, Meila had already left to talk to Anthony and Bert. "Who knew people could kick that high?"
