Narrator: Last time, on Dragon Ball Z! In order to stop the evil Raditz and save the life of his son, Goku made the ultimate sacrifice! And in the battle's shocking climax, both villain and hero alike, fell before the might of Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon. Though the battle has been won, a dark threat still looms over the Earth. With his final breath, Raditz revealed that three more Saiyans, even more powerful, were now on their way. And for the time being, the world has lost its greatest defender.
Goku: Take care of G-Gohan... 'Kay?
Krillin: I'll wish you back, Goku.
Beetroo: yeah we will!
Krillin: yeah! We already have three Dragon Balls
Goku: See... you... soon.
Krillin: Goku? Goku!
Narrator: But hope is not lost. Though Goku has left this world for now, Kami, the Guardian of the Earth, has plans for him in the next! A new adventure begins today!

Bulma: Huh? Kami took him?
Piccolo: That's right. That meddling old fool.
Bulma: Huh?
Piccolo: I don't know why, and to be honest. I really don't care. Goku's dead, either way.
Krillin: What do you think, Master Roshi?
Beetroo hands gohan to bulma and Kinibi runs up to Beetroo and hugs him.
Master roshi: Hmm... Kami is the guardian of the Earth. Whatever he's doing, we can at least take comfort in knowing his intentions are good.
Krillin: Yeah, well, I for one will take a lot more comfort once we find the rest of the Dragon Balls and wish Goku back!
Bulma: Ugh! We could really use Yamcha's help right now. But as usual, he's never around.
Krillin: 'Cause you dumped him, right?
Beetroo: yeah he's probably somewhere sad that you dump him.
Bulma: Hey, how was this Raditz guy able to find Beetroo and Goku? I mean, the world's a big place, but he came right to both of them!
Piccolo: That device on his face is some kind of sensor.
Bulma: Huh?
Piccolo: It detects strong power levels and tracks their location.
Beetroo: yeah because when me and Goku first arrived on this planet we had to fight some strange type aliens and had those scouter but luckily I destroyed them before they could sense it but I guess it was to late.
