Mental mess

New friend

The teacher came in and started the lesson, they would write down all the information on the whiteboard and I would start to make notes in my notebook. I would write fast and very messy, I couldn't even see most of the things I wrote down. As I write I would bring my hand down to my leg and would dig my nails in to my skin. I would press harder and harder and would let go just before my skin started bleeding. I continue to write down my notes when I feel someone glaring at me and I turn to see a boy with black short hair looks tall and muscular.

"What are you glaring at?" I ask him and glare back at him.
"Nothing" He says shyly then turns away from me.
"Yes you were and stop with that it looks like you are a pervert" I whisper harshly to him but I'm a little surprised that he was so shy, he looked like the guy who would get in to a lot of fight.
"Yes sorry..." He says and looks down his face turning red as a tomato from embarrassment.
I look at him confused and was I to hard on him?
"Hey what's your name?" I ask him curiously as I wanted to lighten up the mood a bit.
"James, you?" He says and smiles slightly.
"Hannah" I say and shakes his hand.
"Are you new here? I have never seen you around" He asks me and tilts his head a bit.
"Yeah" I say and smile at him then look at the clock that was ticking on the wall over the whiteboard it was almost 10:00 and I sigh.
"Something wrong?" He asks a bit concerned when he hears my sigh.
"I have to go I have a meeting with the principal soon" I say looking annoyed and start packing up my things.
"Why?" He says and raises an eyebrow.
"I kind of punch a kid today..." I say like it was nothing take my bag.
"On your first day?!" He says a little to loudly and the teacher gives him a stern look and he mouths "sorry" to her.
"Yeah" I say and shrug my shoulders a bit, then start to walk out with my back on me.
"See you around James" I say to him and smile at him.
"Yeah" He says and watch me walk out of the classroom.

I sit down out side the principals office and wait for him to call me in. I'm still annoyed that I had to go here as the other kid should also be punished, I mean you have to be two to get in a fight right?

"You can come in now" I hear him say after a while. I would walk in to the office then sit down on a small the chair in front of him.
"So you punched I kid on your first day?" He says and sighs.
"Yeah but he called me weak he deserved it!" I say quickly my voice still sounding annoyed.
"Yeah maybe he did but you can't go around punching people okay? Because this is your first offense you will get a week of detention" He says and rub his eyes.
"It won't happen again sir, I promise" I say then stand up and walk out of his office and is surprised to see the same guy from before there.
"Well hello James" I say a bit confused to why he decided to wait for me but I smile at him.
"Hi, how did it go?" He asks and stands up from the small chairs outside the principals office.
"Detention for a week" I say and sigh. Then start walking with him beside me to the cafeteria to eat some lunch.
"That sucks" He says and wrinkle his nose.
"Yeah" I say and would walk in to the cafeteria and go to the counter and look at the food then wrinkle my nose I was really not in the mood for food even though I never had time to eat the sandwich my brother had made for me earlier that morning.
"Aren't you gonna have something" He asks confused when I sit down at the table without taking any food any food.
"Nope" I say and would shake my head. Then we just sit there quietly. While I sit there and watch him eat I just look at him to nervous to talk which I thought was weird I never had any problems with talking to anyone.
"What do we have next?" He asks with his mouth full of bread.
"I think we have math" I say and groan at the thought of the subject.
"You don't like math?" He asks and swallows the bread.
"No who on earth likes math!?" I say and would lean back in my chair and roll my eyes.
"Fair enough" He says and would nod agreeing with me. I hear the bell ring and I stand up to go to class. "You coming?" I ask him while I start to pack up my stuff.
"Yeah" he says than takes his backpack and start walking.
"Shit, I forgot my math book in my locker can we get it on the way there?" I ask him when I see that it is missing.
"Sure I guess" He says and shrugs his shoulders. You guys start to walk to my locker to get the book.

"Why did you punch that kid earlier?" James asked on the way to my locker.
"He called me weak so I just proved him wrong" I say and shrug my shoulders. James stops walking and looks at me his eyes filled with surprise.
"So you just hit him" He says his voice sounding surprised. I nod then continue walking like it was nothing. We get to my locker and I open it with a small creaking sound. I take out my notebook that has drawn flowers on it then put it in my bag. I close the locker door with a small bang then lock it.
"Should we go to class then?" I ask him and smile a bit.
"Yeah..." He says then starts walking to class with me right after him.

When we get there we are a bit late and the teacher notices immediately.
"Hannah, James detention both of you!" She says harshly and looks at us both with a serious expression on her face. Bucky just sighs then sit down in his sit and takes out his notebook, but I just stand there with crossed arms looking right at the teacher with my cold blue eyes.
"I already have detention dipshit!" I shout to her annoyed. She doesn't say anything she just looks at me surprised at my words, and so does everyone else in the room including James.
