FROM JOHN F KENNEDY AIRPORT, TO RONALD reagan national airport, the flight was dead silent between sharky and tatiana. baggage was silent, security boarding was silent, flying was silent. for the entire six hours spent in the airport, they didn't utter a single word to each other, they may as well have been two separate traveling parties.
tatiana didn't speak due to the sadness she had for herself, and the anger she had for sharky. sharky didn't speak due to the shame he had for himself, and the guilt he had for tatiana. of course, sharky wanted to make it up to her, even though he very obviously couldn't.
he went out to a hermes store in the airport, doing his best to spend loads of time and money since they had a few hours before their flight. after a while, an employee offered him a birkin.
it was a small, pink bag, with silver decals and pinning. sharky checked to make sure it had proper stitching and would be durable, before agreeing to purchase it.
