A WEEK HAD PASSED SINCE JIEUN AND RIKI'S PROCLAMATION REACHED HOUSE KANG IN THE HIGHLANDS. The response had finally arrived, bearing news that House Kang had chosen to bend the knee to Jieun's rule, on the condition of maintaining their independence as a nation. Jieun sat at the council room table, her eyes scanning the map spread out before her. Her fingers delicately picked up a small pin with a tiny banner, representing House Kang, and she moved it over the Highlands on the map, symbolising their acceptance of her claim.
The room was filled with an air of anticipation and a sense of accomplishment. Jieun's gaze shifted to those assembled, her voice filled with confidence born from her deep understanding of the political landscape.
