THE COUNCIL MEETING COMMENCED AS THE LORDS OF THE REALM FILED INTO THE SMALL ROOM, WHERE THEY WERE GREETED BY KING JAEHO AND HIS MAIN ADVISOR, LORD KIM. Lord Park from the north region of Fjeljord and Lord Lee from the south region of Sunfell took their seats, exchanging pleasantries with the others.

The topic of discussion soon turned to the arrival of Prince Riki from the West, and Lord Kim wasted no time in expressing his concerns.

'Your Grace, I must express my unease with the arrival of Prince Riki. We have heard rumours that his family is sponsoring a rebellion in the Free Man's Islands, providing troops and resources to the pirates there. It would not be wise to have such a man in our midst, especially when it concerns the safety of the royal family.'

King Jaeho nodded gravely, his eyes flickering to Lord Park and Lord Lee. 'I agree, but we must also consider the political implications of turning away a prince. It could be seen as a slight, and we must maintain good relations with the West.'

Lord Lee spoke up, 'Your Grace, may I suggest that we allow Prince Riki to stay for a short period of time, but keep a close eye on him? We can assign a few trusted guards to watch over him, and if there is any evidence of wrongdoing, we can take appropriate action.'

Lord Park was quick to respond. 'But my king, Prince Riki, is a guest of honour, and it would be disrespectful to turn him away. It could also cause tensions between our kingdoms,' he said, using the more common title for the king.

'I also believe that it would be in our best interest to welcome Prince Riki and show him the hospitality of our kingdom,' Lord Lee agreed, nodding his head alongside Lord Park.

King Jaeho sat back on his throne, considering both sides of the argument. He knew that Lord Kim had always been cautious and had a tendency to be overly protective, but he also understood the importance of maintaining good relations with neighbouring kingdoms. No one wanted a war.

'My lords, I hear both of your arguments,' the king finally said, using a tone that indicated he had made up his mind. 'I will allow Prince Riki to stay as a guest, but only for a limited time. We must ensure that our kingdom is protected, but we must also show our guests the hospitality that they deserve.'
