"Ay, by the way, baka hindi ako makasabay sa inyo makauwi mamaya. May lakad ako."

Misha rolled her eyes. "Replacing us na with a man?"

"Does Kuya Aspen know about Phillip?"

Crim nodded. She laughed.

"It's because Kuya Aspen thinks that no man deserves you. Gusto mo ba talaga si Phillip?"

"Duh, Misha! Aside from he's an engineering student, he's also the top of his department and a soccer player. Saan ka pa, 'diba?!" Pagtatanggol ni Crim.

Misha narrowed her eyes at Crim. "What if your attraction is only an infatuation?"

Crim shrugged. "Then, so be it. I'll just record it as an experience. There's a good feeling that comes along with commitments. Try niyo rin kasi!"

Misha scoffed. "Ayaw. I can't wait for you to hate commitments. You'll get tired din."

"Well, at least natututo. Okay na 'yon."

There's nothing wrong with wanting commitments or hating it. Learning from experience is the best teacher. The lessons can be kept inside a treasure box as we went along with our life journey.

Mistakes are part of our life experiences, too. Kung may maling nagawa, be accountable and learn from it. Admitting to your mistakes doesn't make you less of a human. It can actually help you grow. We will undoubtedly make mistakes at some point in our lives, just like when we commit to something in life or in a relationship.

People like Crim shouldn't be criticized for wanting to be committed to others simply because she wants to be in a relationship. Misha is one of those people that doesn't want attachments, and she shouldn't be shamed for wanting to be single.

Kanin, burger, pancit, at dalawang ulam!

"Kaya ka natatae, eh." Misha said to Crim when the latter went to our table holding the tray full of her food.

Crim snorted. "At least busog ako. Damo nga na naman kinakain mo. Kambing ka ba? Gawin kitang papaitan."

Misha rolled her eyes before starting to eat her meal. I ate silently and just savored the food I was eating.

I rummaged through my bag for my materials science booklet in our next class and my eyes widened when I didn't see it. Shocks, naiwan ko ata sa locker last week!
