I continued saying it in my head as I was also drowning from it.

Lunod na ako sa trabaho ko na hindi ko na namalayan na ilang linggo na ang nakalipas. I almost made this company my home because I always come home late!

"...Individual parts produced approximately 680 pieces. All found to be above the required weight..."

"...Based on the observed samples, 99.9% of the created components are predicted to weigh more than x grams, according to a cumulative distribution function..."

"...To substitute sampling each batch and comparing it to an acceptability criteria for weighing each piece individually..."

I continued to whisper to myself inside the laboratory. I wrote the equations in the tab but I can't freaking finish it! Hindi man lang ako umabot sa final solution dahil distracted ako sa ibang bagay!

Ilang araw na ako nagrereklamo dahil sa tambak na trabaho pero nagagawa ko pang ma distract sa ibang bagay!

I remembered how my father complimented Ryder when he finally joined the PBA. Several people were eyeing him in the mock draft. There's no guarantee that he will be picked but after two rounds of it, he now belongs to a team!

"Wow. Good for him. He made it to the right team." My father said while watching the sports channel. Nakaupo ako sa single seat sa living area ng bahay at napatingin sa kanya dahil sa sinabi.

"What is it about?" I asked him curiously. He smiled at me.

"Your Ryder finally belongs to the team of champions."

I blinked rapidly. "Pardon?"

My father laughed at my reaction before messing with my hair.

"Pasok na si Ryder sa next season ng PBA."

I gasped. He laughed again at my reaction.

"Bella, kailan mo dadalhin 'yon dito sa bahay?" My mom said while carrying a bowl of chips in her hand before sitting beside my father on the sofa.

My eyes widened at what she said. I blinked rapidly again. My parents even have the audacity to laugh at me!

"He played well in Japan during those years. What more ngayon, 'no?" My mom complimented Ryder when he appeared on the television screen, along with his information and awards.

I still can't believe we're having this conversation now! Kasasabi lang ni Crim na tatagan ko sarili ko para kay Ryder, pero tangina, umaatras na naman ako!

"So, Bella. Kailan nga?" My mom asked again before slowly giving me a teasing smile. I blushed at that.

"We're not even talking..." I uttered as I blushed while looking at Ryder on the screen.

They laughed. I pouted before looking at them.

"You must congratulate him now, anak. He deserves it." My mom said before they continued complimenting Ryder.

I was slowly becoming a melted marshmallow as I followed what she said. Gusto ko rin naman, eh!

Maybe he already changed his number but I'm still hoping he could still receive my message for him. Crim should pat me on the back for finally having the backbone to reach out to Ryder.

Congratulations on making it to the PBA! You deserve it, Ryder.

He freaking replied with a bunch of messages within seconds!
