Chapter 9

Me:

Good morning, beauties! I'm on my way to school na. I'm going to do something earlier lang. See you later! 🥰

I sent a text on our group chat then looked at the mirror to fix my hair. A short black pleated skirt, white long sleeve blouse matched with black ribbon and a black blazer to complete the look of my school uniform. I wore my black oxford shoes before looking at myself again in the mirror.

I truly look like a kid despite my age with my round shaped face that highlighted my rosy chubby cheeks, doe eyes, cupid bow lips, and fair skin tone to finish my soft facial features. My long black wavy hair with curtain bangs fell on my back gracefully.

Crim has the fiercest face, while Misha is chinita, and there's me looking like their love kid. I laughed at that.

I never got jealous with them because I know that we're all beautiful in our own way. There's no space for competition between the three of us. Plus, we always hype each other up and that's the best support system I've ever got along with our families.

I breathed in before smiling at myself. My backpack was draped on my shoulder. I ran downstairs. Nakaalis na sila mom and dad kanina at hinalikan ako sa aking pagtulog bilang paalam. Nakarating na ako sa garahe at nakitang nag aabang na ang driver ko.

"Good morning po, Mang Salas!" Bati ko sa driver namin.

Mang Salas chuckled before waving back at me. "Magandang umaga, Miss Bella. Mukhang maganda ang tulog mo, ah?"

I nodded excitedly. "Yes po, excited na rin po ako simulan ang linggong ito."

Mang Salas laughed before opening the car door for me. "Oh, sige na. Aalis na tayo. Ngayon ka lang maaga umalis, ah? Hindi mo kasabay sila Crimson?"

"Ah, may gagawin lang po kasi ako. Sinabi ko naman kila Crim and Misha."

Mang Salas nodded. "Oh, sige na. Pasok ka na. Kasabay mo si Scar dahil maaga rin ang pasok ng batang 'yon. Kinukuha lang niya ang bag niya sa loob."

I only nodded before getting inside the car. Afterwards, I saw Scar running towards our car then sitting beside me in the backseat.

"Good morning, ate! Ang aga mo ngayon, ah!" Bati sa akin ni Scar.

I nodded at her then smiled softly. "May gagawin lang ako."

She nodded excitedly at me before linking her arm to mine. "Sige, ate! Excited ako dahil ngayon lang kita nakasabay papuntang school!"

"Hindi mo ba nakakasabay si Willa?"

"Eh, may driver din naman sila Ate Misha para kay Willa kaya hindi kami nagsasabay. Sa school na lang kami nagkikita, eh." Sabi ni Scar. Sila ni Willa ay close rin katulad naming tatlo nila Misha at Crim. Parehas din sila ng college program.

When we arrived at the university, Scar kissed my cheek goodbye before running towards Willa who's waiting by the gate. I hugged Willa and Scar goodbye before walking towards the building of our classroom.

Kumakabog nang malakas ang puso ko habang naglalakad. Diretso lang ang tingin ko sa dinadaanan ko at umaasang hindi ako matapilok.

Nang nakarating ako sa classroom namin, hindi na ako nagulat na ako pa lang ang nandoon. Isang oras mahigit pa bago mag start ang klase ni Ma'am Amelia kasi!

I sat on my seat. Tinanggal ko ang strap ng bag ko mula sa balikat at nilagay sa likod ng upuan sa harap ko. I got my notebook and placed it on my desk. Kinuha ko rin ang sky blue sticky notes ko at ballpen. Huminga ako nang malalim.
