"The management informed me that I shouldn't date for about five game seasons. That would help in building my career in basketball here." Ryder said as we sat in comfortable silence.

Ang aming mga kamay nakapahinga sa lamesa. I smiled at myself because of the sight.

"I won't give my dream up, Bella. You should know that now." Ryder said as he looked at me then smiled.

I smiled then nodded.

"Thank you for believing in me." He added.

I nodded again before smiling wider. "You're always welcome."

He chuckled. "Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na ikaw naman ang maghihintay para sa akin."

I giggled. "It's a give and take in a relationship, right?"

He looked at me amusingly. "We're in a relationship?"

I stilled when I realized what my mouth just said. Did I just let it out?! It's supposed to be inside your head lang, Bella!

He laughed when I stopped. "Cute mo talaga. I was just joking."

"No. We're not in a relationship." Biglang bawi ko.

He gave me a teasing smile. "I thought we were?"

"I was just joking din!" Depensa ko sa sarili ko.

He gripped my hand tighter as he laughed at what I said.

"Bawal ka nga pala." I whispered before I pouted.

He groaned as he brought our hands over his chest. "Sabihin mo lang kung hindi na ako maglalaro. I would really concede, Bella."

I frowned at him. "Don't base your decisions on me. I would get mad."

"Ang hirap mo rin kasi iwasan. Tukso ka kasi." He said slowly.

"Are you blaming me?"

"Hindi ba halata?"

I glared at him. He gave me a teasing smile again.

"I'm kidding, baby."

Halos mangatog ang mga binti ko sa tawag niya sa akin. Bwisit ka, Ryder!

I pouted at him as my glare disappeared.

He smiled at me. "Makita ka lang na ganito at mahawakan lang kamay mo, alam kong magiging madali at mabilis ang mga araw. You will really wait for me?"

My glare came back. He laughed.

"Okay po." He teasingly replied. I softly hit his arm to stop him and he just laughed.

He turned serious. "Bella, alam kong ilang taon mo na 'to alam pero gusto ko pa rin sabihin. Hihintayin kita katulad ng paghihintay mo sa akin. Ikaw ang laging laman ng isip ko. Sana alam mo 'yan."

"That's unbelievable. What about your parents?"

"Lagi ko naman sila nakikita. Ikaw ang malayo sa akin pansamantala."

I pouted.

"Bella, if you ever hear news of me linked with other women, I hope you won't believe them. The media wants to create something that will light the fire, but if it involves my name, that's not true."

I slowly nodded. He smiled at me.

"I know basketball attracts a lot of females but this one player is only attracted to you." He added that, which made my already wild system even wilder.

"I only want a relationship from one woman. Ikaw lang. Kaya 'wag kang maniwala in case may magsabi na may gusto ko sa iba. They're nothing to me."

I pursed my lips before nodding.
