I closed my eyes as I anticipated the electric shock. I don't know how to explain the feeling kasi hindi naman masakit pero masasaktan ka dahil sa gulat!

"Ouch!" I said as I rapidly shook my hands. I pouted as I saw Ryder grinning at me. Halatang natuwa pa dahil nakuryente ako!

"Damn, boy! Alam kung paano kunin ang gustong sagot!" Sabi ni Galen habang natatawa.

"Napaamin nang wala sa oras ang bebe namin!" Tawa ni Crim sa akin.

I pouted as I sat on the sofa. Masama ang tingin ko kay Ryder.

"Bella, you're so cute!" Inabot ni Misha ang pisngi ko para pisilin.

Ryder was all smiles at me kahit halatang nasaktan ako sa kuryente. Hindi ko alam kung may factory defect pa ba ang laruan!

My eyes widened when Ryder held my hand and placed it on his lap. He massaged my fingers, which brought me back to how he comforted me when I got my period during college. Even after years, the comfort of his touch remained.

"Okay ka na?" Bulong niya sa akin. May bahid na tuwa ang kanyang boses.

I pouted at him. "Do I look like I'm okay?"

He chuckled before gripping my hand tighter. "Ako kasi okay lang, eh."

"Pake ko." I frowned.

"Nakuha ko kasi ang sagot." Bulong ni Ryder na natatawa.

"May factory defect." Depensa ko sa sarili.

"Well, not in your case."

I groaned before leaning back on the sofa. Tinawanan niya ako pero hawak pa rin ang kamay ko. He placed his jacket on my lap again.

Sumandal din siya sa upuan kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. His head was turned to me.

"Are you sleepy?" He whispered in his husky voice.

I shook my head.

"Punta ka sa game ko after ng wedding nila Crim?"

"'Pag sinipag ako."

"Sana sipagin ka."

"Paano kung hindi?"

"Iiyak ako."

I looked at him ridiculously. He laughed at my reaction.

"Cute mo."

I rolled my eyes before setting my eyes in front to hide my blushing cheeks. I heard his laugh.

"Bella, ang ganda mo."

Napatingin ako ulit sa kanya. "Stop it."

He grinned. "Kilig ka?"

"Hindi."

"Your blushing face says otherwise."

"Makeup lang 'yan!"

"No. I think it's natural."

"Hindi ka titigil?"

"Hindi."

"Bakit?"

"Ang sarap asarin ng mahal ko, eh."

I breathed deeply before closing my eyes as I leaned back on the sofa again. I tried to ignore him, but I heard his laugh. His presence still makes my system go crazy, but it also makes it weaker. It's an intoxicating feeling that will always soothe my soul.

"Bella." Bulong niya sa akin. Kahit nakapikit ako, ramdam kong nakatingin siya sa akin.

"Bella." Bulong niya ulit dahil hindi ako sumagot.
