(sam's POV)

I was so confused. What could've happened that caused her to stomp angrily inside her house without explaining?

I glanced at her as she went inside the house. I quickly hurried and tried my best to carry all the bags at once. Obviously I failed so I carried them separately.

Once I was done taking them all back inside I was about to go check up on Mon until her mom stopped me.

"Oh Khun Sam!" She asked. I went down two steps and looked back at her while holding the stairs railing. "Yes?" I replied. "Thank you, for all of this. And mostly thank you for looking after our sweet girl, Mon. She's never been treated with this much respect by any of her friends, nor her ex boyfriend so it's good she finally has a friend who has the kindest soul" she said as she walked towards me. She grabbed my hand and thanked me once more. "It's no problem Ms.Pohn, it was a pleasure meeting you and being able to help you" I say, knowing that it wasn't my first time meeting her.

(Flashback from 3 years ago)

I was driving and stopped by at the grocery store once I had realized I need A LOT of things. As I was parking my car i tried my best to park straight in reverse. Once I thought it was okay I got out the car and took a look. "ooh.." I whispered. Seeing how crooked it looked I let out a small laugh. Whatever I'm not planning on taking long anyway.

As I entered the store I grabbed a shopping basket on my left. I began walking around the store, I know I said I wouldn't take long but the candle section was calling my name. I picked up every single candle, opened it, and sniffed it. One specifically caught my eye. It was a champagne toast candle. I took a sniffed and immediately put it inside the basket. "Okay...no more distractions Sam. We have to get going" I whispered as I began walking away.

I continued shopping and looking for the things I needed such as more nescafé coffee, vanilla pudding for my morning shakes, and more necessaries.

As I was walking down the snack aisle. I began to check out some yummy snacks I could take in for work for my few employees as a way of thanking them for their hard work. I was looking at some Taro Seafood Snack and decided to put a few for my employee at work. As I turned to leave I saw a woman at the very end struggling to put a few things into her cart. I quickly rushed over and helped her get 2 boxes of Thai mango coconut pudding.

"Oh thank you. I felt as if I was going to fall. I'm sorry to have caused you trouble. Please continue shopping" she said as she chuckled. "It's no problem, have a good day!" I say as I leave with a smile on my face.

Once I had gotten everything on my imaginary list, I went ahead and lined up to pay. I waited patiently for approximately 6 minutes until I was up.

While the cashier was scanning the items, I was getting my money ready.

"1,740 baht. Would you like a bag?" I nodded a yes and handed her the money. "Thank you" I said as I begin bagging the items one by one. As I was bagging the items I saw the  woman from earlier. She remembered me, she gave me a smile and I returned the smile and continued bagging my items. "Done with the first bag" I whispered. I was listening to my surroundings and accidentally overheard her and the cashier's conversation. "Your cards been declined. Do you have another one you could use?" The cashier asked. "Oh um that's my only card..I don't carry cash" she replied.

I didn't want to jump in and sound nosey but I also didn't want to leave her.

"I'll pay for all of her groceries" I jump in. "Oh young lady you don't have to do that" she says, holding onto my arm gently. "Please, I insist" I say as I place my hand on top of hers. "That'll be 4,180 bahts. Cash or credit?" the cashier asked once again. "Credit" I reply, taking out my card and handing it over to her. "Thank you so much, I appreciate. I promise to repay you back once I see you again" she says, pulling me into a hug.

Suddenly I felt the urge to cry. Getting a hug from an elder woman really makes me emotional, knowing I grew up without any love from my mother and my father.

Once she pulled away from the hug she had tears in her eyes and I immediately wiped them away.
I smiled and even paid for her bags.
"Here's your card back, and you're really kind for helping her out. I just know that means a lot to her" the cashier spoke. "Oh thank you, and it's no big deal. I'm always willing to help people who need it" I smiled "have a good day" I say walking towards the woman again and giving her a hand with bagging her groceries.

Once we were done bagging all her groceries, I took my groceries inside my car first since it was parked in the very front of the store. Once I made sure everything was secured I walked back to her and helped her put all her groceries inside her car.
After all that was done I made sure he trunk was shut right and she was ready to go.

"Thank you once again, you didn't have to do all of this. I hope one day I can repay you" she says as she pulls me into another hug. I hug her back tightly before letting her go inside her car. As she begins to leave I wave as she drives off.

I just know whoevers mom that is, they're so lucky to have a lovely mother.

(End of flashback)

Though she may not recognize me anymore, I still remember her. How can she recognize me? I was always wearing hats and my hair was shorter haha! I wouldnt recognize me either.
