ranting abt genealogy (help)

currently making plans with a friend

FINALLY HANGING OUT WITH MY FRIEND

i haven't done that since february (we dont rly live near each other so)

we're gonna go to the mall again

also random fact im really into genealogy

i put all the info i find into familyecho

i got 9,850 people so far

only cuz my dad's dad's side of the family has been in america for 200-400 years so it was rly easy to find people

bro but i cant find my great-great-great grandfather's grandparents its so frustratingggg there is like nothing

also he had four wives lmao

and what makes it harder is that his parents name are so fucking common

and they couldve changed their surname from whatever it used to be to what it is now in america but idk

yes i could talk to my grandpa about it butttt

the last time i mentioned it, turns out i already knew more than he did

my mom's side tho like

my great grandpa and his siblings and parents were all born in puerto rico and i cant find any more of his family and also the census i looked at was in spanish so idk (now im learning spanish on duolingo lol)

and my great grandma's parents were born in poland so i cant find much about them (also learning polish rn WHY IS EVERYTHING SPELLED LIKE THAT)
