unfortunately i went to a second day of school

first class of the day was 2nd period which was AP Precalc AB (previously standard precalc)

i sat in the front cuz i dont wanna fail math this year

the teacher is nice but she was way too energized in the morning

she's puerto rican too but from vieques not aguada

slay

she went over the rules and stuff

she let us put our phones in our bags cuz she's using her phone pocket hotel for calculators lol

we were put in groups and i was with mauro who actually wasnt that annoying and i dont really see a reason to hate him so i dont

we had to think of "obstacles" that occur during group projects and then think of solutions to them and write them on boards

it was lowkey boring tho

then we did some notes on concave up and concave down

then the bell rang (thank god) but we got homework which is algebra 2 review but i dont remember shit GUYS

then it was study hall time and GUYS I HATE THE NEW LAWS

because my study hall teacher is a physics teacher and the classroom is a physics classroom, there is no food or drink allowed

like when am i supposed to snack?? not 4th or 3rd or 8th period which are my only periods that i get hungry BROOOO

we are not allowed to have phones out during our free period

we had to put them in the pocket thing

its a free period

like i need music to study??????

and i put all my homework reminders on my phone

she said if we have a problem with it (we all do), we can email the governor and he wont even read it but we can try

so i did my apush reading and started on my precalc homework but gave up after doing like a quarter of it and watched the owl house season 3 episode 2 on my chromebook instead lmao

they tried to block youtube but i just used my personal account to get around it

then i went to english 11 dual enrollment

i love this teacher she is so much better than mr. friedman like she can actually teach and she's not like "learning's messy guys uwu" she's like "i'm gonna teach you guys how to write college level essays"

we had to put our phones in the pockets :(

she gave us a thick boi packet about the rules of nova grading and attendance

and she had to explain everything and it was so boring and an hour passed and we all ran out for lunch

i went to the cafeteria cuz there is literally nowhere else i can go except for outside at the back of the school where all the smokers go if they're not in the bathrooms

bro what if next year they make the entire cafeteria seniors only that would be funny for me cuz i'm a senior next year

i ate lunch and was so pissed i couldnt send a happy birthday message to logan until later because cafeteria has no service or it says wifi is connected but its lying to you

i went back to english and she finished going over the packet and then she answered people's questions and then the bell rang

i went to genetics & biotech next which is the same classroom as vampire boy's AP chem class last year and its right across from voulez-vous' room from last year (idk if he's still in that room)

the teacher is so nice and she looks like 30s but she's actually 51 like girl drop ur skincare routine

she's been teaching for 31 years thats crazy

she has 3 fish tanks in the room and lots of plants and posters of baby animals its so cute

i guess i look unapproachable because i got there early and sat down and NO ONE SAT AT MY TABLE guys they all looked at me and walked past like..

i saw yenna's friend ava and she just waved and sat with other people :D

we were allowed to just put our phones in our bags but she's starting the phone hotel thing next week

and next class we'll have assigned seats so yay at least then i can sit with people and they'll be forced to talk to me

we had to fill out an about me sheet and we had to write

why we want to take the class (cuz i like biology)

what we want to major in in college (viola performance but minor in some biology)

and

what topics we're interested in learning about (heredity and dna stuff)

then we had to go to stations with our groups (so by myself) and fill out the packet

it wasnt that hard though for the most part it was common sense

but one station there was a question like "if you were a plant breeder, what two plants would you breed to get a hybrid? why these two plants?" and guys im stupid and not creative when im fucking tired so i fucking wrote "a pretty flower like a rose and a food like a melon so the hybrid can be a food but also have pretty petals" like guys was i high?? idfk what i was thinking cuz i wasnt even thinking i just wrote that and hopefully mrs. h doesn't judge me but i know she's grading the packet lmao

also there was a girl who came in like over an hour late to class lol and she sat down at my table to do the about me paper and then she got up to start on the stations packet and mrs. h told her to join any group and guess what? she did not go to me so thats

fun.

i guess rn im not actively trying to make new friends but still i feel like people think im weird or something?? so they dont even try to talk to me

the bell rang and i went home and thats pretty much it yeah
