so im gonna play in the pit with two other kids from my class for the spring musical my school is doing

unfortunately there is no viola part :(

but i said i could play second violin part

so now i think i have to go rent a violin now

but the sheet music doesnt come out until march so i just have to wait

but i think the musical is in march

so hopefully it's not too hard to play

oh yeah this weekend is busy

yesterday I woke up at 5am cuz i had to leave for this thing thats like 2 hours away and it was a viola event the whole day (9am-5pm) 😭 i am so tireddddd

and then today i'm going to a gar with my grandmom, grandad, parents, and uncle

but my cousin can't come because he's a toddler and he has to be with his parents at all times but his dad is in Cameroon rn and his mom is busy cuz her aunt is temporarily living with them

but also idk if he's allowed at fancy restaurants yet or not

and then tomorrow is no school and we may or may not go to a free orchestra concert at the kennedy center.

he makes us do a journaling prompt at the beginning of every class (not the problem) but the QUESTIONS are....

What do your caretakers (EX: parents) expect of you now? Your friends? What responsibilities do you have? What do they expect of you in the future?

What is the first activity, sport, instrument, or group that you remember doing as a kid? Who chose this activity for you?

What is a time when someone disappointed you? What were the circumstances? How are things with that person now?

What is a time when you felt like a disappointment? What happened? How are things with that person now?

How do you define yourself? What might people assume about you based on your appearance? Consider some of the following traits: race, ethnicity, location (neighborhood, state, country), activities/hobbies, gender, age, religion, social-standing, or socioeconomic status (wealth).

Describe your family dynamic. How many siblings do you have? Pets? Cousins? What do your caretakers do for work? What's your heritage?

What is a stereotype that you have encountered in your own life? What were the circumstances? What assumptions were made?

and all of these are coming from a WHITE GUY (and most of my class is NOT WHITE)

he's like "I'm POLISH" 

and he said he doesn't know any polish and he's never been to poland...

and he tried to speak spanish to this one hispanic girl who was new to the class (he thought she didnt understand english cuz she didnt reply to whatever he said but she just had her airpods in lol) and his spanish SUCKS (typical for a white guy tho)

and requesting kids' personal information?? like maybe it's not THAT personal to some people who are just willing to share ANYTHING but some of the questions made me uncomfortable cuz i'm like "he's reading this. what is he gonna do with this information about me??????"

and he's def cheating on his wife (the librarian) with the other english 10 teacher
