cedric's trombone was dropped on the floor on friday and he noticed a crack during rehearsal yesterday so he ran home and came back with tape to temporarily fix it 😭

our percussion guy was gone cuz of health issues

our other percussion person had really bad pollen allergies but she still came but she had to play timpani

Leo came back from all state to play more flute and piccolo

the french horn and bassoon are dating

the trumpet can't play high notes correctly and i think he's getting replaced 🤭 BY MAURO'S BESTIE 😭 she better be good so mauro doesn't hate us anymore

Clarinet or saxophone really fucked up on notes and Berk dismissed everyone except woodwinds during intermission to talk to them lmao

Lile's solo in Stay I Pray You was actually good but Mauro still went sharp (he's doing it on purpose to mess with us cuz he hates us 🥰)

My grandparents came to the show randomly (we're seeing them today and we were going to invite them lol) and they kept saying strings sound good and the singers are basically professionals

Everyone agreed Nate (Gleb) is the best and I told my granddad that Nate's mom's ex-boyfriend is the ex-mayor that did illegal drugs and sex

He was like "there's always dirt" lmao

my grandmom also bought me the TTPD CD and pre-ordered HIT ME HARD AND SOFT CD as well YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY

I was talking to my grandparents in the audience and then it went full blackout and I was like "oh shit" and ran back to pit but I couldn't SEEEEEEEEEE and half of pit wasn't there either and then the lights came back on so we could all get settled and then they went blackout again when we were actually ready to start act 2

anyway berk is lowkey mad at us (not strings tho) and i think he is replacing trumpet and he said he's not gonna be nice anymore and he's making us do more rehearsals and call times are still 2 hours before the show not 1

i dont get how I (who has played viola for 6.5 years and just learned violin and treble clef a month ago) can play better than someone who is playing trumpet who has played trumpet for the same amount of years

when i wasnt touring colleges or at busch gardens, i was practicing ONLY VIOLIN ONLY ANASTASIA 1-2 hours every day because i thought i would be the worst sounding person at the pit

but no, i'm one of the best?

like im not even joking, its insane, i'm actually not trying to be like haha im better than you, like i want everyone else to be better than me cuz mostly everyone else is older than me which means more experience like OMG band kids get ur shit together
