"Listen, darling. I understand you're putting all of your effort into this campaign, but you still have an image to uphold!"

"If I find another scar on that face of yours, you're leaving the campaign. I can't have my firstborn looking like a street witch! What would the press think?"

Your parents weren't really happy with the new face.

They didn't even care to look at the new spell you learnt that supposedly cost you your 'beauty', like you had any of that in the first place.

Their droning felt like the noisy electric hum of the lights in the background of your head.

It felt like all you were hearing from them was criticism. Endless whining about how you were going to fail, they were like the devils on your shoulder.

But that didn't matter, you were able to get out of the house, and start walking to school.

It seemed like Amity had started heading off earlier, you saw a glimpse of green turn down your road as you stepped off your driveway.

Nothing really happened yesterday, especially considering how the day before was so eventful.

You kept your head down, and hid yourself from the other witches in school, per the request of your father, until he could find a witch that could fix the scar on your face.

Which was tiny. Minuscule in the grand scheme of things.
A single jagged pale line that ran across your lip.

Willow and Gus got to see at lunch though while you were eating, they seemed shocked at first, then let it wash off as the conversation went somewhere else.

Like the road you were walking down.

You spotted Willow and Gus stood outside school, talking to one another.

"This isn't gonna work out at all!"
The girl in green cried,

"Well, I feel like I took care of any potential problems."
Gus replied.

"Hey guys, what's going on?"
You asked,

"Gus lied to Luz and told her he got her ban lifted yesterday, and now she's coming to school."
Willow sighed, with Gus staring at the ground.

Oh, the Human. Luz.
You'd almost forgotten about her.

Amity wasn't going to be excited..

Titan, you needed to stop thinking about her for the time being.

You overheard the conversation between the two, watching Gus carry a bag filled with all of Luz's old banned posters.
Then you spotted someone in the distance,

"Oh, hey Y/N!"
You weren't used to her voice yet, it surprised you.

"Hey Luz, it's good to see you again."
You spoke, just trying to be nice, but she took it to heart.

Luz had already tapped into the conversation,
"Undercover from what?"

When a cowl was thrown over her head, and Gus' alarm rang.
"We better get going, see you after school, you two!"

With Luz being dragged behind him, Gus disappeared into the Hexside halls again.

"Bye, friends! Be safe, make good choices!"

Well, that's ironic.

Willow sighed and started walking into the building, with you by her side.

"Titan, I hope he knows what he's doing."
She giggled afterwards,

"It's weird hearing all of the things you, Gus and Luz get up to, most of my time with Amity was basically the same. Training, learning spells, dealing with Boscha."
