Who am I?

Im back

When I woke up I had 20 minutes to get ready for school. I took the fastest shower in the world. I put on a sweater over top of a button up and some pants. I went down stairs and saw Wilbur talking to Lisa by the door. I grabbed my already packed bag and pulled Wilbur out of the house with me. We got to the school three minutes before the bell somehow.

"I'll see you later" he said kissing my forehead

"No you're coming with me"

"Karl I graduated while you were gone remember?"

"Yeah but I'm nervous as fuck and I barely remember where my classes are"

"Fine but I'm not staying the whole day"

We got out of the car together and walked to the building. People stared at us as we walked. The Tom boy that was friends with Toby ran up to Wil and hugged him.

"Mate! What are you doing here? Peaking on kids?" Tom laughed

"Shut up Tommy" Wil giggled "im just walking my friend to class, he was gone for awhile"

"Wait I know you... karl! You knew Toby in the hospital" Tom said shaking my hand

"Yeah I miss him" I giggled

"Right well I'll catch up with you later Wil" Tom said

"See you" Wil smiled as Tom walked away

"You know Tom?" I asked as we kept walking

"Yeah me and him go way back, he's like the brother I never had"

He walked me to my first period and talked to mrs tuddy while I set my stuff down. Mrs tuddy gave me all work I missed and said my dead line was in three weeks. Not enough time at all. Wilbur left before nick had a chance to see him. When the bell rang and nick saw me he ran to me and pulled me into a kiss. When he pulled away from the kiss everyone was staring at us.

"So you missed me?" I giggled

"Of course I missed you karl. You were gone for months" he said finally letting go of me

"Your hair is so long" he said as we sat down

"I know, they wouldn't let me cut it at the hospital and I haven't had time to fix it" I said playing with a piece of my hair

Me and nick talked the entire first period. I went to second and got a few dirty looks from the teacher. In third period my teacher was a little to easy on me, she didn't make do any work and she said I didn't have to make up the stuff I missed. At lunch clay and George told be all of the drama I missed. My last two periods were kind of just normal, nothing special. After school I found Alex in the parking lot

"Alex" I yelled as I walked up to him

"Karl?" He turned around and seemed surprised to see me

We hugged each other. He stared at me in awe.

"You look so different" he said looking at mostly my hair

"Me? Look at you! Your hair is so much longer then it used to be! And you're taller!"

"Do you need a ride home?" He asked opening his car door for me

"Yes please" I said getting into the car

We talked about him and nick having a falling out when I went to the hospital. He said that they fought about to many things with me gone. Him and Wilbur apparently started bonding when Wil would go to his house and give updates about me. When we got to my house I offered for him to come in and hang out but he said no and that he had a date.

When I got in the house Lisa and Jana attacked me with questions about school and the people there. I told them that it was exactly how we expected it to be and that they needed to give me room before I died. I went to my room and listened to music. I made sure not to fall asleep. At dinner me and mom made a meal from my food guide that I got from the hospital.

I fell asleep immediately after dinner. In the morning I got to school at a normal person time. I walked around campus trying to find the mark guy. I finally him found hanging out by the bathrooms with a very short girl. I walked up to them and awkwardly interpreted their conversation.

"Are you mark?" I asked

"Yeah"

"I'm Karl jacobs. I was in the psych ward with Toby" his eyes widened "he wants to know why you stopped seeing him"

"I just made other friends, I can't see him in a state like that. It's hard seeing your friend like that" he said looking away from me

"Right. Well you need to visit him or at least call him" I said before walking away.

For the next month or so before winter break my life was nice. Me, George, and clay became really close. I visited Toby two times a week until he got out of the psych ward. Me and nick became really close and I started viewing him as a romantic partner not just a friend. Wilbur and Alex started dating the week before winter break. Nikki and Cara met up with me every Wednesday at a café for lunch. The band started getting really popular, they had a gig nearly everyday and they started getting streams on Spotify.

When winter break came I spent most of it laying in bed with nick talking about a bunch of random things. On Christmas I hung out with literally everyone I knew. Lisa had invited Cara and Nikki over for lunch. Wilbur and Alex came by with gifts for literally everyone in my family. Nick came by for an hour or two after lunch. The band came by at dinner time with poorly made cookies that they decorated.

My life is actually coming together.
