*Tiana's POV

I feel guilt.

Every second I think of how I could've killed him. Naveen's murderer.

He was slow, I could've done it.

The one time I feel something for someone, it all falls apart. I remember my momma telling me that I will find love, and when I do, don't let go.

But I let go.

I know he's watching over me. I haven't crossed anyone yet, there has not been any trouble, which also worries me.

Don't the game makers get bored when all I do is walk around and look for food? Maybe Naveen and I was enough drama for everyone out there.

The face of his killer has been in my nightmares. I'm determined to make someone else feel the pain I did.

I'm walking in the forest, when I see a trail of blood on the ground. I quietly get out my knife and hold it close. I look around for other tributes.

When my eyes scan the sky, I see something out of the ordinary.

In the tree above me, some of the branches are much wider and closer than usual. I start to climb it to get a better look when I'm ambushed.

An arrow grazes my hip and I jump down from the tree, falling on my ankle.

I clutch it in pain, but feel an arrow pierce me in my stomach.

I can't wait to see you, Naveen.

*Tarzan's POV

I can't stop thinking about Jane. The baby and her wellness are clogging my brain. Luckily, I'm in a stable situation.

No one has come by my shelter, so I haven't had to kill anyone else. At least I'm trying to keep my thoughts away from my guilt.

I just keep telling myself that I am the only person that needs to get out of here. The others don't have a family to go home to.

An unnerving thought comes to mind. What if Jane thinks I've turned into some killer? I'm not.

I blow a kiss into the camera inserted into the tree across from mine, hoping that she's watching. How stupid I must look, I think to myself.

When I hear leaves rustling below me, I see another tribute with dark skin trying to climb the tree. I look into the camera, as if saying I'm sorry to whomever I'm killing.

They don't see me, luckily, so I shoot an arrow but miss.

When she sees me she jumps down, twisting her ankle. It's the perfect time.

I shoot an arrow below her heart, and she immediately is dead. I hear the cannon in my ears and start to get emotional. The toll of the competition finally weighing in.

That girl belongs to a family, a family that loves her. She might even have her own unique situation, where she needs to get home.

I try to shake the thoughts away because it'll only make things worse.

I watch the hovercraft carry her away, as I stabilize the things around me to make sure they don't blow away.

A parachute comes down, and in the tiny bag there is a banana. Attached to it is a note.

I love you. Nothing can reverse that.
-Nani (Jane)

It's as if she's reading my mind. She knows bananas are my favorite food, and I'm almost brought to tears.
