A frosty blue wind filled the field, through the bottom of the huge gate guarding Oasis. Suddenly a thunderous bolt of green lightning struck the middle of the city creating a large, flat crater of smooth, pure glass underneath it. The impact created a little wave of glass surrounding it, making it look like a soft, but wide slash in a crystal ocean. Medikus's eyes lit up as he stood up from his knee, and looked up to the sky screaming...

"BROTHERS OF THE MIST!!! COME FACE YOUR DEATH!!!"

Back at the front gate, the frosty wind had taken the entire floor of Oasis, and foggy water vapor clouded the air. Thousands of purple, fiery swords appeared, surrounding the inside of the walls of Oasis, what was now an entire eloquent military base for the Sheiffs. Fiery eyes lit up behind the swords creating an eerily beautiful site. Orange spiders of sand filled the ground, all eyes alight with flames. And lastly, heavy grey rain and golden arrows of lightning began to pour from the sky, striking down sheriffs in their tracks. Frost blew down the front gate, and the entire army of wranglers began to invade Oasis, taking them by surprise, but letting them know just enough with their fog and fire that it shook the Sheriffs, putting fear into their hearts from the very start. Ivan, Ionna, and Aranea flew down from the sky on Aranea's orange sand dragon, and as they landed, it let out a roar of fire, searing anyone who got too close. The most legendary battle the Desert Sands had ever seen had just begun!

Natura had just put the babies to sleep. A light rain began to pour and Natura felt a sudden, eerie chill. Both babies started crying again and she went to them immediately.

"It's all right boys!"

She picked them up and sat down on a chair by their beds, caressing them lovingly. Although she said it would be okay, she felt a power so strong through the wind, she wasn't even sure if Medikus, the boy she thought was immortal, could beat its owner. Natura whispered...

"I know you hear me you three, you watch over those kids while I watch over theirs!"

A tear fell from her eye as she thought about them. Her idols, Miadco and Aux, and the love of her life, Igneous.

The Sheriffs ran through the fog in disarray, totally taken off guard by the surprise attack. With the Disciples of the Five leading the way, a brutal slaughter had begun at the Sheriff's expense. The remaining four Lights waited outside of the gate for the Fearsome Four, while their disciples pushed the area around the middle of the city back, giving Medikus as much room in the middle of the city as possible. With this they sectioned off Oasis into zones, so that the armies' fight didn't get in the way of the Five. Outside of the gate Ash, Kruise, Trista, and Dormia waited, knowing the Fearsome Four would run right into their trap. Trista looked up.

"They're coming from above, to surround us!

Ash grinned.

"Their young and dumb, this won't take long at all!"

As four heavily robed figures fell right on top of them, Ash created a portal under themselves, teleporting them to four different spots, creating a perfect square. The Fearsome Four landed right in the black flames Ash left and he used it to pick them all up by their heels, suspending them upside down in the air. A giant pink claw grew from under them, gripping and crushing the legs of the Fearsome Four. Ash's black flames chased up the tall pillar of sand into a pale, pink glass statue. Trista slammed a purple wind over top of the pillar, ripping the arms of the Fearsome Four off their arms with the pressure of the wind's potent gravity. And with his blood red finger of rain, Kruise shot them all in the head, leaving blood oozing holes just big enough to see from the ground. And just like that, the beginning of the end started for the sheriffs. Kruise blew on his red finger like a real, smoking gun.

"Nobody ever said we'd play fair." He said matter of factly.

The structure that dangled their burning opponents would go on to be named the Battle Lamp of Oasis. The four Lights walked into the front gates, and watched their army do what they taught them to. They were so confident, that they knew they wouldn't even have to help. They had trained the ultimate army.

Two figures approached Medikus. He marched forward slowly and forcefully, breaking the glass under his feet. Acidus and Purto smirked, meeting him halfway.

"Medikus! Welcome to you gravesi..."

Medikus cut both of their heads off in one clean swipe.

"I didn't come here to talk. Now where is that last one?!"

Medikus scowled, looking around. Suddenly a blast of heat so intense it's effects could be felt all over the Desert Continent hit Medikus square in the face, knocking him all the way back to the center of the glass crater. The heat created a giant road of molten glass leading right to Medikus. Emortus stood at the opposite end. Medikus saw him just long enough to see Emortus disappear into thin air. Medikus used his Aura to stop time catching Emortus right before he landed what would have been an insane punch. Medikus sliced Emortus in half, but something was off. His sword melted, and what he thought was Emortus turned into an intensely hot clone of mist. Emortus spoke from behind him.

"I'm not like my brothers."

Medikus jumped away from the heat clone and faced Emortus.

"Looks like you're still gonna be troublesome, even after all these years!"

"It's unfortunate really, under different circumstances I'd be willing to talk this out. But now that you've slain my brothers, I have a reason to go all out!!!"

"You're one to talk!"

"I never wanted this fight. I always believed me and my brothers fought for the wrong side. But I could never betray my brothers. And now that you've taken them away from me, I see why you hate us so much. Because the only thing on my mind right now is turning you into a pile of ash!!!

"I guess we think alike, cause I was plotting the same ending for you!!!"

Medikus threw down the empty hilt of his sword. And the two stared each other down. Heat began to swelter all around them, and even though nobody was close enough to see, somehow everything alive knew the battle of the aces was underway.
