Diego saw the silver rain. He knew it could only mean one thing. He'd beaten Kruise the last time they fought, but for some reason, he felt uneasy. Red scales engulfed his body, protecting the one armed Sheriff. His menacing black eyes scanned the sky, searching for his attacker.

"Looking for me?"

Diego turned around to see Kruise smirking at him. Diego threw a punch, and Kruise grabbed his hand, stopping him.

"I don't think you understand the situation."

Kruise squeezed Diego's hand, breaking it. Diego whimpered in pain, and had no way of getting away from Kruise.

"I didn't come here to fight you..."

Kruise burrowed his arm of water into Diego's gut, causing him to spit up blood.

"I came here to kill you!!!"

Kruise began beating Diego senselessly, and in the end he left no bone in Diego's body intact. He simply toyed with the man who once gave him his greatest challenge. When he finished, there was nothing left but the headless, shredded remains of Diego. Kruise walked away with Diego's head, perfectly clean without a scratch on him. That day his name grew, and he was called The Ruthless Slayer Kruise.

Natura flew towards the North Sands frantically. Tears streamed down her face, and she feared the worst.

"Why them?! And why now?!!!"

Natura picked up on Kruise almost instantly. She flew in his direction quickly, and saw him walking with Diego's head in his head.

"Kruise!!!"

"Natura?! What's going on?"

"Something terrible has happened!!! Th-the Three Brothers of the Mist... two of them showed up to meet with Igneous. Igneous made me leave, he said he had a bad feeling so I came to round you guys up to go help!"

Kruise dropped the head of his victim.

"You said the Three Brothers of the Mist?!"

Kruise had heard of them before. Their combined power was more than triple of their army's power, and some say that's putting it lightly.

"We'll pick up Dormia first. She can generate a plan. Trista next, she'll be too hyped up to think straight coming out of that rematch, she'll need time to brace the situation. Ash next, he is a bit calmer and figures things out quickly. Medikus last. He's good under pressure and the longer he fights, the better he gets. Plus this will piss him off!"

Natura admired her young students' deduction skills and knowing his teammates' strengths and weaknesses so well.

"Right, let's hurry!"

Acidus melted holes in every non vital area on Aux's body. He kicked him repeatedly, causing as much pain as he could without killing him.

"Any last words?!"

"You're not worth it, you're gonna die soon anyway!"

"And just who is gonna kill me?! Midaco's brat Medikus?!"

"You won't be worth his time when they make their move, Ash will be more than enough to take you out! You're just a second fiddle like me!"

Aux spat a wad of blood in Acidus's face. Acidus wiped it and gritted his teeth, growling.

"I'll never die!!!"

Acidus slowly ripped Aux's head off of his body, with the spine still connected, it dragged the ground as he walked away.

"Maybe I should go pay those kids a visit!!!"

"This is bad! There's only one way, we have to get them out and retreat. We don't have time to plan to fight the Three Brothers of the Mist if they're as strong as I've heard."

"Doesn't sound that much easier to me."

"I assume we're picking up Trista next?"

"You read my mind."

"Natura, how long do you think they can stall?"

"Igneous is a good talker but even he won't be able to stall much longer with them!"

Kruise took off and the other two followed close behind.

"This isn't looking good, I think we might be more out matched than we think!"
