Yara's POV
Time surely passed by, we can't even notice it because of how busy and occupied we are.
"Happy Birthday, Sage!" I cheerfully said as I was about to hug him but someone immediately held my hand.
Everyone just laughed. "Ops, it's bawal pala." Sage said and laughed.
I just pouted and glanced at the guy who was holding my hand while wearing that poker-faced.
"Is Yara already your girlfriend, bro? You're really too possessive." Jaaron said and then laughed.
"I wished I had someone to hold her hand like that, like Jadien?" rinig ko namang sabi ni Nickson which is why I glanced at him and he's teasing Jadien who's been quiet since earlier.
"Where are your friends, Yara?" Sage suddenly asked kaya napalingon ako sa likuran ko.
"Elli and Karena were just here earlier," sabi ko naman, saan kaya nagpunta yung dalawang yun, "Yna and Miegwyn said that they're not sure if they could come." sabi ko naman ulit.
"Is that so..." Sage mumbled, he seems disappointed.
I don't know, but these past few days, weeks, and months, Yna and Miegwyn's been weird, like their behavior gives goosebumps aura.
Like, it happened before? Or maybe it's just my thoughts?
Today's Sage birthday, and we're all invited, as usual, nakadikit lang palagi si Hazon sa'kin, lalo pa't marami ang bisita mostly Sage's friends.
"Sinong hinahanap mo?" Hazon suddenly asked since I've been glancing at the entrance.
"Sina Elli and Karena." agad na sagot ko naman sa kaniya.
"They're just having fun out there." sabi niya naman, napanguso nalang ako at sumandal sa upuan ko.
Nasa table lang kami habang yung mga kasama namin ay hindi ko na alam kung nasaan na, since the party began, I lost sight of them.
"Hey, Haze, Yara, have you seen Shawn and Sage?" biglang sulpot ni Jaaron sa harapan namin.
"I don't know." sagot naman ni Hazon, umiling nalang naman ako.
Hmm.. I think the reason's why Elli and Karena is nowhere to be found dahil sinusundan na naman sina Shawn and Sage. Hayst those girls, they're really interested sa dalawang poging 'yun.
"Aish! Hinahanap ni Joshua si Sage eh." Jaaron said again.
"Where's kuya Ydwen?" tanong ko nalang naman.
"Nasa bar area, he's with Jadien and Nickson." he answered, "Anyway, I'll leave you both again, have a great time together, lovely couple." he said and then laughed as he walked away.
Natatawang napa iling nalang naman ako.
"Would you like to go out?" Hazon suddenly said.
"Hmm, sure." I replied and smiled.
In the past weeks, no, a month already, Hazon's treatment hasn't changed, he's still nice and sweet to me, even though there are days na tinatarayan ko siya.
Halos wala na nga akong time to bond with my friends dahil siya palagi ang kasama ko.
Everyone already knew about us, although our family has yet to announce our engagement, alam na alam na ng mga friends and schoolmates namin ang tungkol don sa amin ni Hazon.
