Yn's pov:
I'm sitting in the bunks studying. I'm crying. "Hey, what's wrong?" Mateo asks. "I'm so freaking dumb!" I yell. "Hey.. You're not dumb yn.." I bury my head in my knees. "Yes, I am.." "Why do you think that?" He asks. "I can't even read a freaking page of the book!" I yell, throwing the book across the room. "I don't even know why I'm trying.."
Mateo's pov:
I'm walking and I hear crying coming from the bunk room. "Hey whats wrong?" I ask. "I'm so freaking dumb!" She yells. "Hey.. you're not dumb yn.." I reassure her. She buries her head in her knees. "Yes I am.." "Why do you think that?" I ask. "I can't even read a freaking page of the book!" She yells. I realize instantly. "I don't even know why I'm trying.." She says sadly. I remember I felt like that when I had my test. "We can help." Marjan says. "How?" Yn asks. "Well, you do still have the recordings right?" She asks me. "Oh yea, I do."
Yn's pov:
"How?" I ask. I felt useless. "Well, you do still have the recordings right?" Marjan asks Mateo. "Oh yea, I do." He says. "Recordings?" I ask. "When I did the test. I had the same problem." He says. "I have Dylexia. So I couldn't do the book. But everyone made me recordings, reading it to me." I had no idea he also had Dylexia. It felt nice to know that I wasn't alone. I wipe my tears. "Thank you," I say. "Just remember you are never alone yn.." Mateo says. "Yeah. You always have your 126 family to help." Marjan says, smiling.
